Nice to see you back CHG burgers look good. I occasionally have those Coop cheesy rolls. Not as good as the Sainsbury ones but there you go. If you can try Baxter’s beetroot chutney or Sainsbury’s own it’s great with burgers in a bap. Hope everything is alright your end.

Kevin, please don't apologize for cooking and eating your good food. Nobody our age can eat burgers everyday. We know you're fixing a special treat. You deserve it. We all do at least once a week or two. You get enough exercise to burn it off. Just give us more episodes per season like Downton Abbey. Maybe 12 episodes per season now. Lovely yummy burger! I need one...now. Oh man of many talents. By the way I watched you on Amazon Prime mostly...I think. We have a lonely old lock in my town of Havre de Grace, Maryland. There was a canal that came down the Susquehanna River to here and then the boats emptied out into the Chesapeake Bay. The canal is all grown over and dried out. Sad. I do love watching how they work on your videos. Glad England kept theirs. Enjoy your life you lucky dog. Where can I get a burger?

Kev love these burgers as they remind of me and my dad msking them from scratch just like you on our boat called wayfarer before it burnt out in 2013 the year of very bad luck as my dad god bless him❤had another stroke living with his ex wife so you could say that life for him and me has been b##@dy s**t ever since but these are exactly what we uses to do!! The cheese would have been more stable to slice had you simply put the wide end down instead of slicing down the cliffs of Dover, as it were. Good news 😂 You won't regret it. Remember those ingredients made 4 burgers, so just halve everything for 2, including the onion. Happy cooking.

Highly recommended and almost as easy as doing readymade. 250g mince, 1 egg and half an onion makes 2 burgers, and some garlic if you like, or even some fresh chili's. Salt and pepper to taste. Shape then cook slowly like normal fresh burgers. Yum 😋

Nope..Can't convince me on this one....:) Bun/roll has absolutely got to be toasted and has to have tomato, beetroot, grated carrot, h/b patty (1), sauce or chutney and lettuce.....cheese and bacon optional...:) I think it may only be Aussies that like beetroot on a burger...…:):):):)

Careful with the raw bacon and meats old boy, can cause the worst stomach aches when near things not cooked. Wash hands after every touch or chopping board use. I had a five month old Yakult once, nearly killed me.

Wet cured bacon preferred. Scottish pies have a better flavor. Colman’s much better than Stokes. C&B apricot & fig loaf cake is great.smoked kipper and haddock not so good. Black or white pudding, too bland.

Black puddings are a wide and varied thing in terms of quality. The best have a nice peppery taste. Best with some runny egg yolk drooling over it and on a piece of fried white bread.
