Me and my buddy played the drinking game while watching this video. Every time he said “yeah” we took a shot of bourbon. Needless to say we were both tipsy as hell about 20 minutes in. YEAH !!! 🍺 🍹 🥤

I've been doing it wrong all these years I need to get a punching bag for my shop for when things don't go right. 😎 Nice job on the dumper. I'm getting ready to build one my self out of my old dump truck. Enjoyed the video!

Great idea, frees the van up when you don't need an open pick up. Other people should copy this idea.

Great video and nice build. I didn't think the digger was going to lift it off the stands to get it outside. Thought possibly pick it up one side at a time and set her down easy. Nope Just gracefully drag it off and over the stands works fine too... yeah thats my style

That's one heavy duty hydraulic cylinder. I am currently thinking on adding a Hydraulic system on a truck bed trailer for testing. I would really like a dual or triple axle dump trailer. Awesome video.

Yea it's been working great so far, I was going to buy a new tipping trailer but it works out too expensive so this was perfect. Thanks for watching 👍

Fine looking trailer... Especially after its Painted. I mean no disrespect but Might I suggest running another "C" channel on the outside of the frame to better support your spring hangers. That's a lot of weight when loaded to be putting on just a 2 x 2 angle iron... PS: Loved the video. I do love building and fabricating trailers. My hobby...

Thanks for the comment and the advice. I will do that, I've a few other wee bits to do to it as well. I'm new to metal work but really enjoying it. Thanks for watching 👍

if you build anther make a rotisserie for each end from scrap. Makes tasks far easier building a trailer . welding especially. use them all the time in Tasmania.

I would've just rebuild the engine on the truck
@seandoran6809 Жыл бұрын
Was planning to do that but the frame and body is all rusted underneath. Thanks for watching 👍
@dirtypocketsct3 жыл бұрын
Good job, only problem is where your standing when its raised. You should never stand in between a dump trailer and truck.

Nice build there Sean good work old son There's only one point if I may and that's is there is quite a gap between the bottom of the side Gates and the the floor allowing a lot of spillage mate I'd really hate for you to spend the rest of your life paying damages for the horrific accident caused by gravel spilling out and hitting a motor cyclest in the face or the missus and kids windscreen A little dramatic some may say??🤔 Happens every day somewhere in the world😕 Mind how ya go olmate
@seandoran68093 жыл бұрын
Yes mate good point cheers for that, one of the hinges was broke but I've it fixed and all. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

very good! can i ask where you were using the arc welder as well as the mig!
@seandoran68093 жыл бұрын
Some of the gaps were bigger so that's why I was using the arc welder as well as the mig. Thanks for watching 👍

What are the dimensions of your shop LxWxH? If you were to build again with the same floor square footage would you change any of those dimensions, and why? Love watching the process of the build 👍 ty Robin
@seandoran68093 жыл бұрын
Hi Robin it's 17m long, 7m wide and 3.2m high. I'd keep it the same I'm happy enough with the layout and size. Its a lot more usable now that I have a storage shed to keep all the large equipment in. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
