You can also use a cool bath to speed up cool down time, I have studied that using an emersion blender can add to much air to formulation which can lead to bacteria growth. I blend until emulsion and then stir rapidly in cool bath to set up.The formulation usually takes about 24 hours to completely set up.

Shea butter is not classed as comedogenic; this means that shea butter doesn't clog pores. However, it is thick in consistency and- being butter- is a naturally oily substance. For these reasons, you should generally avoid the application of pure shea butter to your face, is it true?

It also doesn't have the oily, lathering properties a face cream would have - would you suggest adding more shea butter to this? P.S. I beg to differ, Shea butter is non comedogenic, though it's a butter. If applied directly to the face in a large qty, it can make your face oily. It's normal. In this recipe,it's used as a cream.
