I like this setup, btw, birch is the worst kind if wood to split its fibres are so long and stringy they tend to stay together. Like other videos on firewood processors nobody likes to show the last piece getting split, maybe because it’s the toughest to control and maybe an embarrassment. But all in all this is a nice processor 👍🏻

Good design, where did you get the saw and hydraulic motor from?
@MickesDIY
@MickesDIY 9 ай бұрын
Hydralic motor is a secondhand parker f11-5. Saw bar is just a standard bar for harvester

Now thats a design that makes sense from start to finish. Would you build another one, or have plans for the one you built? Its much more innovative than anything offered by AVANT, or that ive seen elsewhere. Kudos

Thank you! I have no plans, I just build it pretty much. It’s inspired by halverson processors but theirs is much bigger and heavier and wouldn’t work on such small machines.

This machine is very similar to the BTD saw splitting machine kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJe0c5d9bq10e6M&ab_channel=MartinBloemenkamp

Thanks! I run with Parker F11-5, if the larger one fits your build depends on what flow you have.

Great build man, I am impressed. I am researching to build something for my tractor, do you have any drawings, blueprints for this you would share, sell? Thank you.

What are you using for an assembly to run the saw? That’s the only thing holding up my building
@MickesDIY
@MickesDIY 8 ай бұрын
I built it from scratch. One big plate holding the sawmotor with two bolts that locks the last plate. Then a sliding plate with two pins that fit the sawbar and a tension screw, also a coupling for chain oil. Lastly a little plate on the other side of the sawbar with two holes with threads that the two bolts from the sawmotor plate screw into and locks it after it's been tightened. At first big plate, sliding plate, sawbar, little lock plate. In that order sandwich together.

Very nice work 👍🏽 how much do you think it cost you to build?

Thanks. Haven't done the maths on that 😅 But around 2-3000 euro I think.

is your f11-05 motor have a 18 mm shaft and how did you fit a sprocket to it?
@MickesDIY
@MickesDIY Жыл бұрын
Yes it's 18mm shaft. I had a local machineshop make an adapter for me to fit standard harvester sprockets with 25mm hole.

It's old and used so can't help you with that. Any hydraulic shop can probably sell it.
