Thanks👍 It always feels good when it works 😁👍. Well there’s a back story on the plasma cutter. I got one brand new in 1997 but couldn’t hook it up at the home we were renting. So it sat in the corner of the garage. Then in 1999 my son was born and money was tight so sold it to by baby stuff. So it is about time I got one😂 your right she is the best.🤫Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍻

I was about to ask what plasma cutter that was, glad you put it in the notes. I like plasma cutters but on 3/8 and thicker I usually go with a torch, it’s just personal preference really. Excellent job documenting this build. You are one fine fabricator. Very neat job! Looking forward to more!

@@MJADoingStuff I think you did a fine job. personally i have never done much voice over work because in all honesty i dont know how to edit videos and christy does all of that lol! I also like the sound the plasma cutter makes too lol. But i was just watching Martin on DIY my way who does a lot of voice over in his videos, i think that the active voice from the creator may help keep the audience in tune which i may try in the next video what ever it may be lol!

Good job thanks for the video. You can slow down the grapple hydraulics by taking a dime and drilling a small hole in it say 1/8” and inserting it in the feed hose to the hydraulic ram at a fitting. The dime is mailable enough to match npt or jic ends, if it’s to slow drill it out till the speed is right .
@MJADoingStuff
@MJADoingStuff Жыл бұрын

@MJADoingStuff
@MJADoingStuff Жыл бұрын
Thanks😁I purchased the cylinder from northern hydraulics website and I went with a 1.5”inch bore 8” inch stroke cross tube. If I did it again I would order at least a 2”bore or 2.5”to slow down how fast it reacts and give more holding pressure. You can see on there website each cylinder’s measurements when you click on them. I can’t remember exactly but they have great diagrams for each cylinder. Hope that helps. 😁👍🚜💨🍳

I wouldn’t grind cut and weld with a vehicle in the garage! The metal dust on the paint will cause micro sized rust spots, that will grow into larger rust spots and eat through the paint! I know this by experience 😢 By the time you can see the rust specs it’s to late!
