In this video is show you all how i made my Jigsaw Table. For my next projects i need a jigsaw table. And because i have two Jigsaws i can use one for my Jigsaw Table.
It's not that difficult. you only need a piece of 3/4" plywood and a few pieces of timberwood for the legs. thats it. It took me about 30 minutes to make this one. I finished the top with mahogany stain.
The jigsaw i used it a Black & Decker BD 755 PE 380 watt.

When you were hand sawing the 2x4's, I was thinking "ya know the jigsaw hasn't been mounted yet. Why not use it to cut the 2x4's"?

Nice one! A very useful setup. If that's your only jigsaw you could modify the mount a bit so the saw would shoe in and lock to the table with a knob or something similar. Then you could get the saw on and off for hand use (tool free) without wearing out the mounting screw holes.

Nice job! As I'm still looking for stuff like that, two questions: What kind of drill-countersinck combo are you using here? What kind of brand-type square is that? Looks very handy to me!

Thank you Antoine. The drill counter bit i'm using is one from KWB. With a 3mm drillbit. The square is from Wolfcraft. 500mm length. I'm using a better saw blade now for my jigsaw table. And using clamps so that i can work with two hands. If you have any other questions please ask.

One question please: What about the body of the jigsaw itself? it will be moving and vibrating while sawing. Does that affect the accuracy?

No it does not move. In this video you see some vibration. I fixed that with a better sawblade. Also made a on/off switch so i can work with two hands. Still works fine and acurate.

After some trial and error I find if you make the base larger than the table top it helps cut down on vibrations also some foam on the bottom would help
