My dear 😉 I admire your ideas for a nice amateur carpentry workshop 🤗 I'm already retired and I started "carving" wood, I look for ideas and interesting inspirations, but YOU outshine other amateurs of the wonderful hobby of carpentry. Congratulations and I wish you further great successes 😊 A talented and pretty woman 😘

I love the idea of this DIY comparing to the old style scroll saw where the saw blade is so skinny & easy to fly away when it gets over heated & the wood starts smoking too, i myself loves making hobby for arts & carving after you cut it in this beautiful modified jigsaw to scroll saw, now you are giving me an idea how can i modify the guard as a see thru when cutting precise angle, Thank you for sharing me your amazing DIY scroll saw

Really well done and inspirational design and build. One enhancement that would be great for this would be to add some sort of fence , possible using t- track. That would make it extremely versatile.

I will complete the jigsaw table in the next video, including the fence and T track you mentioned. Thank you for watching the video, have a nice day.

Very nice vid. I am making this today. Same approach, same jigsaw. One fyi: the slide-in holder for the jigsaw does not meet flush with the top side of the jigsaw base. Thus, it can rock up and down about 1/8 of an inch. I am adding a 1/8" wood padding so that when the wood passes past the jigsaw blade, the whole jigsaw no longer rocks up and down when the pressure of the wood comes against it. Otherwise, the potential for blade drift and angled cuts becomes an issue. Again, nice video. Out of all of them, chose to make this one.

You got some really cool ideas for a small shop setup. Looks like you sure could have use for a drillpress and a tablesaw, maybe your next project? Cut short pieces of wood and glue and screws to use as support when building "boxes". Cheaper and sturdier than pocket screws. Good luck and slow down a bit keep your fingers safe.

Interesting project but the final setup will still allow for thumb damage if you are not careful, the added security you get from the plastic protection is much smaller than the loss of ability to see where you are cutting. I will happily look over more of your videos, you have a new subscriber.

I like your videos, but think that you should be safer. Wearing gloves when using power tools is very dangerous and you should also be wearing safety googles to protect your eyes. Your jig saw is very innovative. Also wear your mask when sanding since you only get one set of lungs.

Hello, thank you for watching my video and reminding me about protective equipment. It's true that sometimes I wear gloves and safety glasses, sometimes I forget. Maybe it's because I'm too focused, I will fix this in the following videos. Have a good day.

When you want to turn it off, I see you use your left hand. Why don’t you make the cutter work with your leg, for example? This is to protect your right hand when you turn it off, because the wooden board may hurt you.🙂
