Homemade Korean Chilli Oil with No artificial Flavors and Store Upto Several Months.
Ingredients
1. Chilli Falkes -1 Cup (8oz)
2. Oil - 1 & 1/2 Cup (12 oz)
3. Salt- 2 & 1/2 Teaspoon
4. Sugar- 2 & 1/2 Teaspoon
5. White Pepper-2 & 1/2 Teaspoon
6. Sesame seeds to Taste (little)(optional)
7. Red Chilly Powder- 5 Tablespoons
( For Bright red color)(Optional)
8. Uncooked Oil -5 Tablespoons
(Taking oil from 1&1/2 Cup of oil)
9. Star Anise- 2 Cloves
10. Onion - 1 Medium
11.Ginger - 1 Medium cube
12. Garlic- 15 Cloves
Method:
1. Take all the ingredients as mentioned above.
2. Take a clean and dry pan heat up on slow to medium heat.
3. Now add 1& 1/2 Cup of Oil then, Let it heat up on medium flame.
4. Check the Oil by putting one slice of Onion, When Onion come up and start Bubbling then the Oil is ready, Then start adding other ingredients.
5. Now add diced Ginger, Garlic and Onions sauté for few mins on medium flame. Then add Star Anise and cook all the Spices until it turns golden brown.
6. When you use all fresh ingredients,while Cooking in the Oil all the spices release flavors and it turn aromatic.
7. When the Oil is ready switch off the heat and add oil into dry ingredients.
8. Take a Clean and dry bowl, Make sure there is no water in it. Add all the dry ingredients and 5 tablespoon of Oil and mix well,
9.Iam using Uncooked oil here because, If I pour hot oil into the dry ingredients it will burn, By using 5 Tbsp of oil iam making dry ingredients little moisture.
10. Gradually add Oil into ingredients and mix it
11. Store in an Air Tight Container and put in a fridge for several months, You use this sauce for so many different recipes.
12. Make sure don’t put or touch any water in the sauce container and use clean spoon whenever you use Chilli oil sauce.
