Dissolve in 2 Quarts of water 1/2 C Baking soda 1/2 C washing soda 1/4 C Salt ~~ Then add 1/2 C Castille soap And 2 Quarts more water

Castile soap needs to be heavily diluted I can’t remember the exact ratio but you need a significant amount of water for a tiny bit of soap

I use this recipie to wash all of my clothes but it always gets lumpy. I think it is the baking soda or washing soda that clumps and floats but I'm not sure. How do I keep that from happening?

always stir or shake it before you use it! i stir mine since it is in a gallon jar with a spout on it, i just keep a long utencil i dont care for inside of it to stir each time

I had this same issue but just shook the container up like crazy and it all mixed back up! I might not use the spout container she uses for this reason, and stick to an empty gallon water jug (easier to shake hahaha)

If you're going to do this please use 100% coconut oil soap like Kirks, otherwise soap scum will accumulate on your laundry and it will actually hold on to dirt!

i followed this recipe but to my mistake i thought it is one gallon. what happened was it was diluted but cleans. did it for half a year. then i went back to this old recipe and figured 2 quarts is not a galon. so i followed the recipe this time correctly and overnight it became a gel 😂 as in lump of gel

A quart is equal to 2 pints, which is equal to 4 cups, or a 1/4 of a gallon. Easy Peazy! No? Lol😂
