hello congratulations for your hobby. you used cheap and durable materials. did you make the crucible? what material is it made of ?

Thanks Lele. Yes I use waste oil...it's free and yes I made the crucible. It is made of grog, which is crushed firebrick and fire clay, a high temperature firing clay. 50/ 50 mix with very little water to moisten it and it is packed into a mold, dried and then fired. Once fired it is ready to use. I have put some videos up on my channel to show how I make them if you're interested. They are cheap too!!!

Well done but not sure why you're making ingots,ok if that's the end product but the worst thing you can do with brass it keep re melting it, like the burner.
