A lot of other cooking videos boast "Very quick recipe", and yet have all their ingredients already magically prepped, chopped in a plate, and ready to be dumped in. It is very great to finally see quick recipe that also accounts for the time you need to prep the ingredients.

It was always Jamie's thing - I think that's where the whole "Naked Chef" thing came from, because you actually saw him chopping and slicing and mixing stuff from scratch. Before that, cooking shows were always everything prepped, in little bowls, and then the end was always "now, here's one I've prepared earlier". Jamie - you saw the actual thing he'd cooked.

Literally every "very quick recipe" videos be like: You can make this at home in 20 minutes. ...5 minutes into the video: Now you get your ingredient x which I prepared in advance yesterday because it needs six hours of slow cooking and a few hours of resting.

I'm in the same boat mate. Prior to the lock down I've not had a chance to learn how to cook but this time has given me a lot of confidence. I watch a lot of recipes from Jamie and Gordon and decide what's best. I've even begun to gain confidence to divert away from recipes and put my own spin on things (based on my taste preference). It is so liberating. Enjoy your cooking!

How could you possibly know whether some corner shops always have flour? Have you been traveling the country doing a survey? Some people are panic buying more in some areas than others, some people buy more of their food from corner shops in some areas than others. Its entirely possibly that people aren't buying out the flour from corner shops in your area but are elsewhere.

Instead of moving the pan to the oven, you can do what I do next time. Cover the pan with its cover or something else that covers the pan for a few minutes until the dough is ready and the cheese melts

500g of flour is 1/2 a kilo!!!! I made it and the measurements of the dough recipe isnt right. It came out dry and was wayy too much for 1 sausage!

Baking powder! Add 5 grams baking powder (about a teaspoon or so) for every 100 grams flour.

Pizzas your friend?, I think the isolations getting to Jamie. " And so basically, this Pizzas made from tears and pulled out hair". We'll get through this time, it'll wake us up a bit more, make us realise how precious our life is and how great we are, and don't forget, there are people out there now, alone, who even after this passes, don't have anyone.

@Jamie Oliver: Have you tried "Shaked Potatoes"? Peel potatoes, boil, drain. Add soft butter and chopped parsley into the pot. Put lid back on, secure lid and shake pot violently up and down for 1 minute. -> Mashed potatoes with bits in it. (Also great with soft butter and preserved green peppercorns.)
