An interesting experiment. However, it was immediately clear that a disk with such a lot of bolts and nuts would be too heavy. Especially compared to a light spool of trimmer line. in addition, all the bolts located in the second and third circles closer to the center are not needed at all because they do not have time to work, all the work is done by the cutting elements located on the outer orbit. This is how a trimmer line works and this is how a disk with pobedite potions works.

fantastic ,but mecanilly it can be destoyed by the oaf during function (the bearing and the shaft)try to sharpen the end of bolts for reducing the resistance

Need to watch that drill ! It will grab them headphones quick ! Not bad. But almost seemed like the regular weed whacker would do about as good. One big difference I noticed is you wouldn't have to constantly have to keep putting line on it ! ! Like you said if it was a bigger machine is think there would be better results with the garden clearing part. .

I would try and cut away some of the unnecessary metal plating if you can also try 1", 2" and 3" in pattern that way not all trying to dig into dirt at same time until you have already gone thru the longer bolts also look into 3D printing something like this I think it would be fun and very educational. Ok I need to finish watching to see if you made any changes

A good idea! I can imagine the dust storm you can create. As a small engine enthusiast, please allow me to share some info. The extra weight will indeed affect smaller cc engines, and after some time will affect your clutch. Stronger engines, of course will fare better, but I like the concept.

Мало того редуктору писец прийдёт ещё и вал разобьёт ..но это пол беды ..болт вырвавшись из диска убить может и щиток не поможет ..не вздумайте делать такое ..проще удт тогда цепь бензопилы ..хотя тоже редуктор нагружает ..леска вот выход меняй почаще и все гуд будет ) удачи садоводы !!

Jedan mali savet, serviser koji odrzava moj trimer me je posavetovao da nakon upotrebe, trimer drzim uspravno (motor da bude gore) dok se ne ohladi, ako stoji nagnut ka dole, ulje iz glave za secenje sliva se niz cev i tu se ohladi i zalepi, i onda supcanici rade suvi. Pozdrav iz Srbije.

Pozz za Srbiju ;) Ja sam trimer morao tako stavit jer je u pitanju bilo mijesto za njega kojeg nema u garazama tak da sam ga tako stavio videvši kako su u tim salonima stavljeni tak sam i ja stavio svoj :D Ali ima nesta u tome hehehe Ja preferiram da trimer ostavim vertikalno ali kad nemam mijesta :D
