You wonder why we watch you doing stuff, I've been following you for yonks, your journey, trials and tribulations, you have come a long long way, I've throughly enjoyed every post, however mundane you think they are. Great home, great work.

I appreciate that Simon👍 To be honest I'm so glad I decided to start filming things. Going back now it's like looking at a completely different life

I enjoyed that. You have a very listenable voice and inventive mind. Like many in the pre-covid days and throughout,, I came here for the Van build and Vanllfe on your Lost in Europe channel and as many others eventually gave up and became static on a plot of land in the wilderness or whatever, I gave up on them. But, I stayed here and I now have three for one, "Lost in Europe, Ash Pollard, and Marie Garrett". Love all three channels and only follow 2 others from the beginner days of Vanlife, those being Project Amber and Overlanding Sofia. You are truly an Inspiration for many with what you do, and have done with your life so far and I wish you good health and many more years of success with whatever you decide to tackle. Thanks for all so far..., carry on carrying on.

Splendid ! It was wonderful to be able to watch you solve a problem and build this thing yourself. Why spend money when you can make something yourself. The optics don't matter at all. It works ! 👍 And with the money you saved you can get some delicious burgers the next time you're in town! 🍔🍔🍔 It can't be better, can it? 🙂👋

Haha that is very true! I get much more pleasure out of making something myself rather then buying it. Have always been this way 😊

Great result from some bits and pieces that was to hand. Harsh weather there may cause it not to move freely, so cans of the old magic lube may be useful.

That's true, will keep an eye on it👌

Hi Ash, hope you're well and behavin'. Snazzy little custom made cap thing. All that toiling and bashing was worth it in the end, and a job well done. And I do believe it's waving to you, like a nodding dashboard dog. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. 👍✌

I´w got a couple old tractors,, and to me surprisingly, cleaning the pickup-filter, have done the trick when the hydraulics have been to tired. 😴 I am still very very surprised over how dirty the hydraulic oil get over time,, 🤔?? Cheers Ash,, 🍻😎👍
@ash.pollard10 ай бұрын
I did make a new filter for it but could well have gotten blocked up. Will have to drop the oil to check that anyway so I will probably take the back off at the same time to investigate 😊

@@ash.pollard After my first cleaning of the pickup filter/screen, I did get so good hydraulic-pressure I had to change all the gaskets in the front-loader rams, and in the three-point lift. ( gaskets are probably not the right word,, seals maybe? not the swimming in the ocean ultrafat type,, 😅) The oil in the pickup-sieve was like a mixture between sludge, asphalt and jello,, 🤢🤘. Drop the oil and take a peak. 🧐 If you are lucky, you may have to replace some seals too,,😅👍. It will be great YT material. People are most commonly sadists, and love to see people "suffer" with problems like that,, 😂. Good luck my friend, and you have to give it that it is waaaaaaay better to do it now, than in 4 months,, 🥶
