Find out how to make your own pumpkin pie spice!
• Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon...
Coffee creamer base:
1/2 cup soaked cashews
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Maple almond:
3-4 TBS maple syrup
1 tsp almond extract
Pumpkin spice:
1 TBS pumpkin pie spice
3-4 TBS maple syrup
Salted caramel:
6 pitted medjool dates
1/3 cup warm water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Blend the cashew creamer base and the date paste in a high speed blender until silky smooth. If you want to control the sweetness, blend the date paste separately in a food processor or blender, then blend into the creamer a little at a time until it’s sweet enough for your liking.

A great coffee "creamer" is the fat from coconut milk cans. Get a coconut milk can, let it refrigerate overnight, open it upside it down and dump out the water! So good in coffee omg blend it up with your coffee and it's amazing

It isn't that simple if it isn't just coconut since they can contain emulsifiers to keep the cream from separating.

Actually, most cans will separate. Some separate better than others; you just have to look around. I've made ice cream from the fat of coconut cans before, which is a pretty popular vegan ice cream recipe :)

I also use a French press and have for years-----Use GOOD coffee beans, single estate, shade grown, organic, fair trade---- After water comes to a boil, let it set for about 45 sec. to take it down to 205 degrees. Then pour and let it brew for 4 minutes. Great coffee!!

oh my God, love love, love this video wonderful recipes for creamers! And I never knew you were supposed to put roughly chopped coffee beans in a French press. Thank you so much I’ve always hated using my French press because I swear it gives me the worst head rush because I was using fine coffee grounds and I swear I eat like a gallon of coffee because like it has a whole bunch of coffee grounds in the bottom of your cup so you it literally makes me throw up so I’ve never actually done it again that’s why it must’ve happened. I’m definitely gonna try and making coffee with my French press your way. Thank you so much.

I am actually looking for a butter pecan coffee creamer; an unsweetened one, can you make something like that? I also like my coffee a golden color after adding any kind of creamer, most who make creamers still have their coffee a dark brown color, too me that is not rich and creamy, so far I have searched for a homemade one, as I can easily make a chocolate mint creamer that is good, but my fave would be butter pecan.

I've been vegan for 13 years, and have passed over 400 kidney stones! I realized I was eating a very high oxalate diet, and had to cut out some real gems like spinach, almonds, and dates is sadly another high one. What else could I use? Makes me so sad cuz I would smash that last one! These are great and easy and going to save me so much money! Plus its impossible to find just cashew based. Cashews are a safe nut for me! THANK YOU! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Are you drinking enough clean water? We need about a gallon per day depending on our weight. I realized I wasn't drinking enough and started drinking distilled (which also dissolves things in the body as a bonus). Sorry to hear you've been having such issues!!! There's also some great all natural herbal stone breaking formulas I've used with success in times of need. I'm sure you've tried things, maybe even these things, I just feel bad for you so I'm throwing some suggestions out there ❤

In regards to the French press coffee... I have the same French press and have struggled with making a good cup of coffee since I've owned it! Standard directions say steep for 3-4 minutes... but I get the world's weakest coffee!! I didn't know you could do 10-15 mins... I'll need to try this.

something I wondered about the traditional casein ingredient coffee whitener ( 'creamer' must be American ) ......whether the nice flavor when mixed in the coffee was real, or just a result of 'addictive effects of small quantity added, milk derivative casein.

Elie Barbar try making it with the ninja. It might not be as smooth, but you can blend it longer. A quick tip for soaking cashews so you don't have to wait: boil them for 20 mins instead of soaking overnight.

New to your channel and on my second try of the first recipe. The first go round the almond was overpowering and the creamer didn't taste well at all (using McCormick "pure" almond extract so I'm betting a higher quality product could yield better taste). Mustering through this bottle as I'm determined to not waste it. Cut the almond extract quanitity in half went for the full 4 tbsp of maple syrup instead of 3 (was afraid of it being too sweet) and already like it a lot better but I notice it being very thin both times... creamy in taste but watery in texture, get me? Am thinking I'll reduce the water content on the next try but wanted to ask if yours thickens after refrigerated (mine stayed thin and separated) just to better assess my plan for the next time (less water and/or add a thickening agent).
@MoreSaltPlease
@MoreSaltPlease 6 жыл бұрын
Giannina Alarcon thanks for the feedback! Using a better quality almond extract will definitely make it taste better. It’s thick enough for me, but do you boo. And homemade nut creamers/milks will always separate because it has real ingredients instead of fillers.
@MoreSaltPlease
@MoreSaltPlease 6 жыл бұрын
Giannina Alarcon also make sure you measure the cashews before you soak them because they expand after they’re soaked.
@gianninal5455
@gianninal5455 6 жыл бұрын
More Salt Please ok so you prefer yours thinner? I was just asking to see if my expectation of the final product was different from your preference which it seems like it might be. I actually rechecked the recipe again thinking maybe I was reading the water measurement incorrectly right after I commented, lol. I also wonder if I'm not blending long enough. I only have a ninja (DEFINITELY upgrading to a Vitamix or Blendtec soon) and after rewatching the video I realized I've been using an auto timed setting and though it didn't taste gritty I wonder if blend time could impact the thickness? Only one way to find out! I'm still so thankful for your recipes... I understand that each recipe may turn out slightly different for others based on equipment difference, ingredient quality, and taste/texture preferences so I'm definitely not knocking your recipe in anyway... just trying to figure out how to make adjustments so I can finally commit to no more store bought creamer (oat milk will be my next mission after I master a creamer base). Oh and I'm definitely considering supporting you via Patreon - I love your content/channel and your awesome personality and am slowly marathoning through your videos. 🙂

Giannina Alarcon you’re so sweet thank you 🤗🙏🏼 yea a Vitamix for this recipe is a must! Nothing compares. This recipe is as thick as any non dairy creamer I’ve ever bought at the store. I like my creamer thick too, so maybe it is the blender 🤷🏻‍♀️
