This was my favourite meal made by my grandma growing up in Northern Ireland. I need to start making this for myself. My grandma use to put beef chunks in it also

There was a little cafe in Strabane (that I've tried to locate online since going to see if it was still there) that me and my late aunty went to when we were over from Donegal. They put a scoop of spuds in it. It was the best soup ever and it looked alot like this. I found this via Irish recepies on Facebook. Is this a pretty standard Nordie soup? It didn't have parsley but definately cabbage and it was quite light. Thanks for this!
