Homemade VHF Scanner Radio Dipole Antenna

Took me over half of a year to build and get it mounted on the tower. Like the old saying better late then never I guess.
Ugly isn't it? It's not professional looking in the least but hey it works and it didn't cost anything. :) It was made and mounted from pieces and parts I found in our buildings.
I fine tuned it some before it was mounted.

@MAG315 There is only one department gone digital in my area and that's the state police. They've been digital for quite a few years. All we have is analog scanners and I don't plan on spending the money for a digital to listen to them unless the digital units go way down in price in the coming years. 73's Paul
