Great recipe. I tried it a few times. The only change I made was to first dissolve the yeast in the warm milk plus sugar and then add it to the flour. Turned out perfect.

I made this bread - finally I found a really good sandwich bread. I have made 2 others - they were good but after 1 day the bread basically crumbled apart while trying to eat it - they were not truly good "sandwich" bread recipes..This one hit the mark!!! Soft, spongy and a perfect paring for a blt with our garden tomatoes..It was a little more work than the other recipes but very worth it!! Also other recipes made 2 loafs - with just me and my husband at home I really appreciated the recipe made 1 loaf at a time.. thank you for this perfect recipe!! 🥰😋

Those who have not tried it yet are saying too much oil but do they realize there is no oil listed in the main recipe. The oil you're adding is the oil for the recipe. You're just adding it a little at a time insteaf of all at once

Hello! I was wondering if I had to use all purpose flour only, or if I could use the bread flour instead? I have watched and read many recipes for homemade bread and I think this one looks the best.
@padmanabhanrajendran88394 жыл бұрын
of all the bread recipes I have come across, this is the best. Having grown in India, I had a great liking for Indian breads. Priya's recipe gets bread very close to the great taste of Indian breads. I have baked 6 times so far, and every time the result was fantastic. Both of my children too, who were essentially brought up in the USA, love this bread. I don't know if there is a way to attach photos. Otherwise, I would have attached the very first attempt as well as the most recent. Most recently, I sprinkled raisins at the stage when the dough is rolled and before it it placed in the baking dish. It is highly unlikely that I will ever buy bread from any store in the USA. Thanks to Priya.

I follow her ingredients but instead I did not add oil when she roll out the dough and after you put in pan. I waited for the dough to double in size and it took an hour. I just folded the dough and place it in the bread pan and let it rest in bread pan for 30 min. After i coat the top with some melted butter then place in oven for 30 min and it came out delicious bread. Some of you said she added too much oil just omit it. It still turn out perfect bread like the same in her video. Thank you for the recipe magic of Indian rasoi.😇

Also, when kneading this at first it will be very sticky. Keep dabbing oil on your work surface and work it work it work it. 5 or 6 min in if you worked it well enough it won’t be sticky any more. Trust the process. All told we are talking maybe 3tblspoon oil max. I put mine in a small dish measured out,and I use a silicone brush. Once you realize it’s not as much as you think, you’ll stop freaking out on the oil. Just make this bread and enjoy fluffy sponges deliciousness.

@F1TracksideTales4 жыл бұрын
kerry Boschetto it could be 1. Your dough didnt rise before u put it in oven 2. Start with low heat to allow the bread to rise 3. you can rotate it after 10 mins for it to cook even 4. Before u take it out u can check if its cooked well by using a knife , stick it in the middle when its ready the knife should be clean
