AH! Perk's trail name idea at 13:15 is genius! I'm doing ~ 7 week thru attempt on a not-well-traveled trail with a friend and I've been trying to think of mental games to keep us entertained. This one's a winner!

I like perks idea of the trail name being adapted over the journey, but could you imagine the length of the introductions at the end of the trail though five minutes just to introduce yourselves to each other lol

LOLOL.....this is brilliant! Aron, you are the MOST incredibly talented editor. The Andy Griffith music with Dixie throwing rocks in the frozen lake made me laugh so much, I woke my poor kitty snoozing on my lap. This is such a loving tribute to the people of the trail. Dixie and Perk are still heroes in my eyes, but helps us see they are still humans, too. Delightful humans, but still humans. :-) Thank you SO much for starting the day with a smile. More, please?

Funny, funny! Great mix, Aaron; you are good! Thank you, Dixie, for being brave enough to take us behind the scenes. Extraordinary people complete the trail, however to do it and then ALSO to tell the story in a compelling way ... that is very, very difficult, which is why this channel is so unique and special. We see a bit of the hard work here. CDT ... hike on!

Dixie - Instead of eating and smashing Mosquitoes try Avon Skin So Soft, my wife is allergic to most bug sprays but not this and it does work without DEET. A 60 minutes type show did a test with it and the other leading brands and it worked just as well and keeps your skin nice.

i had a cat for 16 years and never thought about strapping her on my backbag. taking a cat out of her microcosmos / home means a lot of stress to the animal
