Hello! A girl from Croatia here (south-east Europe), military girlfriend and I LOVE your videos. We as a country are quite traditional , religious and still very different from western Europe and America but I can see changes everyday and we are adapting really fast and it is scary. I am so happy to see channel like yours because it brings me back faith to society. I love being traditional and there is nothing wrong with that way of life. To each their own, no judgement. You are a living proof that femininity is not as much in clothes but in behavior. A lot of feminine vloggers overfocus on just wearing dresses and skirts
@hogardepolina5 жыл бұрын
P. S. I have long time been told that femininity and biking are mutually exclusive... You proved it wrong. Separate thanks to that
@paradiseblue53035 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. Yes clothes are important but 90% of femininity is inside which then translates outside. Femininity is a way of life/thinking and perspective. You have to do the inner work first and it can take time if you were brought up in a feminist world because your changing decades of living a certain way and having a certain view of life.
@hogardepolina5 жыл бұрын
@@paradiseblue5303 true. I have a very mixed upbringing though. I am from Russia and I was born right after the breakup of Soviet union. The women in Russia are somewhat "working horses" since they need to drag the entire household on them and yet manage to be feminine. I am still a feminist in its classic way (I believe women should be self-sufficient human beings), but I disagree with many aspects of third way feminism.
@paradiseblue53035 жыл бұрын
@@hogardepolina I see where your coming from and I think its really nice that even though you're a feminist you can still join a blog like this to get a balanced perspective. I always believe everyone should do whats best for them and I really appreciate you sharing because it helps me understand different perspectives. Is it true that the fashion in Russia is very feminine?
@hogardepolina5 жыл бұрын
@@paradiseblue5303 yes and no. You definitely see more women wearing skirts and dresses, even in - 20°C, but, at the same time, you find very much androgynous fashion as well. Also we have plenty of people who dress with no taste 😂😂😂 actually, I like from Caitlyn that she does not exclude that feminine women can have a career and be self-sufficient. Russian-speaking vloggers on femininity mostly take vedic perspective and suggest EVERYONE to stay at home and depend on a husband.

I'm watching this videos because there's a part of me that really wants to have that peaceful homemaking life when you have basically all day for fancy baking, walks and bike journeys, thrifting, hobbies and taking care of yourself and your loved ones. I'm conflicted - I really want to have this feminine perfect wife lifestyle, be calm and pretty, cook healthy meals and have perfect home, but also I want to develop my career so I have to squish this all homemaking and selfcare into my after-work time. It's sooo stressful, especially in fall/winter when days are really short, it's cold and just lying under the cozy blanket is so tempting.
@carsoncrouch78955 жыл бұрын
Girl you can do it! I’m in the same position and I consider “homemakeing” in general a hobby of mine including everything she does! Lol it’s hard in the modern world but we can make it work! And I don’t even have a husband but I still love cleaning/baking/etc.
@aokayt95175 жыл бұрын
How I always thought of it was that before marriage I can do all my career things, after I'll do homemaking. Then again, my 'career' isn't very formal, at least not the way I'm doing it (freelance journalist), so it's easier for me to just swtich. But it's still a good, general rule to follow.
@rebeccarichmond14435 жыл бұрын
She's also pursuing her career and working on writing and editing and filming. Most ever homemaker I know is also working on a dream, a career, a side hustle. You can do both as long as you carve time out for what's important and take shortcuts on the stuff that's not! ♥️

I'd recommend skipping the drugstore company made hair oils and just buy coconut oil and argan oil from the natural store and mix those for your hair. Coconut oil and argan oil have the smallest molecules so your hair absorbs it the best! It'll be cheaper and more healthier for your hair since most man- made hair oils use silicon which gives the appearance of smoother hair but in reality it doesn't do much for the health of your hair :))
