You are such a blessing. Homemaking is a way of showing gratitude to God for what He has given us and a way of showing love to our family. Keeping up with homemaking tasks daily helps keep away the feeling of overwhelm. My husband and I have always discussed plans together- I think it is respectful as well as making sure we don’t create conflicting schedules. I think a big key to homemaking is that family respects each other in their efforts and work together. We are “making a home” that is a lot more than simply cleaning and feeding- it’s the atmosphere of comfort and love.

Davee I think you are beautiful inside and out. Thank you for being here for all of us. Can't wait to see your garden this summer. Yes I think we need a lot of prayer for our country it's going in the wrong place we need God more than ever..

Yes! I agree about gardening. We extended our garden this year to produce earlier in the Spring and then later in the Fall. It’s a lot of work but well worth it, especially in our world now. Cleaner healthier eating is very essential in staying healthy. Great video ❤️

Hi Davee, thanks for the encouraging video. New subscriber here. I found home making late in life but it’s so fulfilling at any season. ❤️

Nice video. Thank you for sharing how to be a real woman in this society. Most young women can’t keep a house but you show you can do it and have ownership over your home and finances.

Wonderful advice Davee. You are definitely a good steward of your time and your videos have inspired me to be a better steward of mine. I am an early retiree homemaker now but even as a working wife and Mom in my younger years I would try and implement some of these home making skills. It’s a lot easier now. Many blessings to you and your family. ❤️

Davee, you're living out Prov.31:27..."She looks well to the ways of her household." Such a fine example to your peers. Thank you for sharing your skills and wisdom with others! I was also thinking that thrifting is a very practical life skill, and FUN, too! Saving your family money is like earning it, too, in a way. And please don't be too concerned about your sewing skills. I've sewn all my life, but mostly thrift clothing now, because the price of fabric and patterns is so high that it's not cost effective anymore. As long as you can mend, you're golden! Please keep the great content coming! Blessings, Pam Levesque P.S. Have fun planting your garden!

It is astounding the cost of fabric, patterns, threads, trims!! My mom was a professional seamstress. I’ve grew up sewing and have an embroidery sewing machine. I do a little sewing here and there, for the joy of it.
