I am a day behind and VERY MUCH needed your calm influence and great ideas, Noemi. We are all unpacked, now to try to find places for art and organize all the little things - and now my parents are here in our town and have found a house! Second operation done and dusted. Cervical 5/6 discectomy and fusion. Fair amount of pain in shoulders and muscles. Also eating is painful as they have to push the pharynx and larynx out of the road to get to spine. Drain coming out today and I’m up and about. Will have a collar to go home with. MRI booked for Monday on first op site dr thinks it is CSF leaking so double checking. If so will get a blood patch into it to dissolve it quicker. Praying tomorrow is a better day.

My mom used to make things from the garden but I had no clue about anything when I was a young adult. I haven't seen anybody make pickles like that in a long time it was interesting to watch someone else do it I used to but I haven't grown any cucumbers in quite a while hopefully this coming season I will grow some cucumbers. But like so many things in our every season is different. But I did enjoy watching to the end I never thought of making waffles like that before I have an old fashioned waffle iron that doesn't flip so I'll have to try it the recipe and pray it doesn't stick. If you leave your potatoes or whatever in the waffle iron a little longer, they will get crispy and golden brown. Pull them out too soon, they remain white, floppy and soft. 👍🏻❤❤
