Instead of a headband light, get a LED that clips onto your glasses. Won't look goofy and it will be at the perfect level for your working eyesight

I'm having door locking and window operations issues, I have going to change out the drivers side control panel switch box, hopefully this fixes it. Thanks for the heads up video on taking off the door panel.

It was hard to hear your audio but I didn’t need to worry about that since this is one of the easiest vehicles to ever work on. I bought a 2001 JGC 4.0L IN6 (Bulletproof Motor) that sat under a bunch of trees for over 3 years and needed a lot of work. I needed to replace both rear window motors, the hatch door locking motor and replace the body clips on the front passenger door panel where all the alarm antennas and the ECM connect to. I bought all three colored body clips since the rear hatch door panel required all three. The white, tan and green body clips, plus I used some black body clips I had in my toolbox. Each door took me between 15-30 minutes each. The only real issue I had was the black plastic protective covers between the panels and the doors were all dried up and brittle that are glued into place by Jeep. Nothing you can do except like I did, which was to replace it with white thick plastic sheets that I had to cut to size and just throw it in. I did add 33” of 18 ga AWG wire for the key fob antenna in the front passenger door so that I could a longer range to arm and disarm the vehicle. I did this since I had to replace all the brittle door clips anyway. The door no longer makes all that noise and I don’t have to beat it back into place once a month. I used just a plastic putty knife to pop all the panels off that I bought at Home Depot because the metal tool that you used breaks those clips 9 out of 10 times. When I removed the rear hatch door panel, it rained all that black, brittle plastic protective sheet all over on top of me and good thing I was wearing one of my Marine Corps baseball caps or it would of been all in my hair. I did need a broom to sweep all those small chunks of plastic. Overall, this is a pretty easy job, I think anyone can do this job. Those door motor assemblies only goes in one way, which I took pics with my iPhone at the start so that I can have a good reference if I ever got into trouble but it all worked out well. I think the whole job cost me about $131 dollars from three motors and all three sets of body clips. I watched your video because I’ve yet to replace the driver’s door window motor but still looked pretty easy. That’s for making video! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thank you so much for your informative video on the Grand Cherokee door panel. Question, where can I purchase the door liner silencer? Having trouble searching for it. Thanks again.

You might be able to get a new door panel splash guard from your local Jeep dealer. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day!

Do you have a link for those parts? The previous owner did a job on them installing speakers.
