my driver side window regulator doesn’t work and that’s why it needs replaced how do I lower the window if that switch doesn’t work

16:16 make sure when installing aand pushing the window pins through the bracket, that the black pulley cable is in front of the bracket not behind. I did this and wondered why it wouldn't move? Lol thankfully I saw 16:16 and noticed mine cable is behind the bracket. Ugh.

My window just came off the rail (as far as I can tell... ) The motor works, so is it necessary to replace the whole reg unit or is there a chance it just needs to be set back on the track?

If the motor is good you can save money and replace just the regulator. Duralast Window Regulator 740-556 Fits my 02 grand cherokee limited 4.7l v8.
