Thinking about buying 3- two for my kids and one for me! I love math now that I’m a homeschool mom but i hated it in school. Math made me feel stupid, but I was actually a brilliant little girl! I grew up and realized public school math is a choppy mess being taught by one (irritable) teacher to the next!

I’ve been praying for wisdom on next year’s math for my high functioning autistic son. We left common core math at the beginning of sixth grade and went right into TT. It is working well with one of my seventh graders, but not with his twin. My HFA son does not like the spiral approach of TT and wanted a worksheet to work through instead. I thought about Math U See, but he wouldn’t reach Algebra until 11th or 12th grade based on his placement test. Your upcoming video showed up in my newsfeed and I started researching it. It looked like what we needed with learning a firm math foundation. Your video helped confirm this is the right math for my son. Thank God for answering my prayer and thank you for sharing your son’s math journey and recommendation.

Your journey sounds very similar to ours. We did MLFAL, and then TT, and left them for the same reasons. This past year we also did Volumes 1 and 2 of Learn Math Fast. I did like how it presented everything, however, we will not be continuing with it this year, as there just was not enough review. It presented concepts well, but it is a mastery approach, and we need a spiral. It definitely helped her finally grasp basic facts though, and that was a huge plus.
