I think public school and the govt have forced families to do homeschooling because the govt wants kids to learn and do the same and that’s not possible. All my kids are graduated but I remember the struggle with my oldest. Good for you to do what works for your family!! YT is great because it provides you a way to be a working mom but stay at home but yet homeschool mom! Boy girl you got a lot of hats on lol 🦋💯❤️

Hi. We’ve been homeschooling for a while. About 6-7 years and I homeschooled my 21 yr old when he was having difficulties in 7&8 grade. They weren’t really patient with him and he didn’t learn like others. ADHD and high anxiety was what he was dealing with unfortunately so I found the opportunity to teach him at home with a Biblical stand point. My other kids now 15 and 12 go to a local church one day a week for some studies like Science, Gym, Cooking, and History. Theres many more classes. It’s also Biblical. I’ve used Bob Jones, Masterbooks & The Good & Beautiful. We like Teaching Textbooks too. The others are taught with a Biblical point. They’re all wonderful, but some years are better than others I’ve found and my boys liked switching sometimes. Just a few options for ya. 😊

I praise parents and God for homeschooling their kids. Both of my daughters homeschool their kids and believe it or not they learn more and advance so much more in their studies! They are still required in Florida to do community and social time with other people. Community service is very important to. ❤❤❤My husband and I are very proud of our daughters and grandchildren. We’re attending our second grandchild’s graduation next week from homeschool and already has earned some college credits during homeschool 🎉🎉

I agree Kelly does a great job! and it’s funny that I’m seeing this comment now because Friday my 30 year old daughter told me she hopes she comes back as a cat in another life. Then she said “ wait, I mean I want to come back as YOUR cat “ 😂 I was like, ooorrrr you could just come back as my daughter again 😂 tbf, I don’t have a cat but her cat does come stay with me a couple of days a month so I built her a cat condo that is basically a 3 ft by 5 ft “ sunroom “ that is attached to my deck and has a cat door so she can get in and out of the house.

🦋🦋🦋🦋 I won the pink mug with fruit on it at work! It's one of my favorite. We have a tradition in our home to have Chinese food for our Christmas dinner because one of our favorite Christmas movies is A Christmas Story, and they go eat at a Chinese restaurant. Our girls absolutely love it. We've mastered sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon, and wonton chips. We usually just buy the frozen fried rice and fix it. It's a lot of work to prep and cook it all, but well worth it. I just love your cozy home, and the environment for your homeschooling that you do. I love your approach. At home learning during Covid with my kids taught me that I was not meant to be teacher. Love your channel!

Something I used to do with my girls when I stayed home is we would make playdough! It’s super easy and it lasts longer. You can also have fun with it like making your own colors (mixing colors would be a learning opportunity for your 4 year old), scents, and you can add things to it for themes.

🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 I homeschool my 3 kids and it was nice to see I’m not the only one that takes my time when it comes to the kids and their routine with school and just not pushing to much down their throat just teaching the necessary subjects and making sure they retain what they are learning and if not going back over it and no just pushing them along. It should be fun for them also adding in outside time, gardening, things we used to learn was life skills and lessons are not being taught anymore and it’s so vital. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ love this day in the life!

I was an English teacher---I've taught every grade from 6th - 12th. Read-aloud time is so important and I'm so glad you are doing this with your kids! I'm not sure what you have on hand but I would suggest two great book series for your aged children : the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park and The Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Also, I would suggest any/all of the Great Illustrated Classics books (Ollie's usually has a pretty good selection). These books will give them the "story" of many great works of literature. I often used these books in my 11th grade basic English class so that my low level students would be reading and having an understanding of the same books (stories) the higher level students were reading. They loved them because the stories are great! There's a book series called Shakespeare's Stories that tells all the plays in narrative form and my students loved them as well----believe it or not, they're favorite was King Lear---nobody even teaches that play. They're all great stories! I could go on and on---but I won't. One more thing---sorry---please plan a trip to your local library at least every other week. Librarians are great resources for materials and they are so helpful in checking out books on all grade levels and subjects/interests----also, you will not believe all the things going on at the library---talk about an adventure! They have book clubs for all levels of readers---including children! Please take your kids, you won't regret it. You're doing a great job! 🦋📚📚📚📚📚

Aw I really enjoyed this, it was very informative and touching as well! My kids are young adults now and both in college also, but if they were young today I would definitely consider doing exactly as you have. I would think about putting them in private for high school though, especially with social skills, and with preparing for college and/or their work lives also. Most if not all of the good private schools have really excellent scholarship programs, so that attending would be beneficial but not break the bank at the same time. And I LOVE the xtiles program, that is so helpful, it's amazing! Loved seeing the glimpses of all your kiddies 😂 Finally that dinner looked so yummy too mama, keep up the great work and I will see ya for sure in the next one! ✨🙏🏽❤️🦋

I have 3 kids and would loveeee to homeschool them. I just don’t know if I would have the patience to 😅 Your kids running around playing outside and having just a stress free daily routine is going to be one of the things they remember when they’re older. You’re doing a great job momma 🤍🦋
