Very cool! We have so far used Volume 1 and Bible Supplement. We have the older edition and the cookbook as well. We used it mostly in Kindergarten, but some of the books we never got to, so we sprinkle them in now from time to time. We have very fond memories of the books we did a full Row of. I plan to use it again when my son gets to Kindergarten

Could you do a flip through of the Five in a Row Bible? Also your thoughts on using it as a stand alone for morning time? I know you won't have a complete review of it until after months of using it. Thank you!

Yes, I will do a flip through asap. And I think using it for morning time is a fabulous idea!

I have been using Before Five In A Row for a little while now, which is for ages 3-5, for my 3 & 7 year old. I feel my 7 year old really gets a lot out of it since we just do it for fun while my 3 year old really enjoys the whole experience and could benefit from doing the same edition again when she’s 5 or 6 if I wanted to. I don’t know anything about the versions for later years but we can agree with you that we cherish the memories we make through living books whether it’s with 5 I.A.R. or something else that is Charlotte Mason inspired. I have recently revised how we are going to do school this upcoming year to be much more Charlotte Mason based with living books. I just can’t get enough of those treasured memories with them over the books while we are still learning. I did add a journal for notebooking main ideas/themes from the books for next year to implement some writing and to have a momento/proof of what we study.
