I've always found homeschooling overwhelming. The first year I had ovarian cancer and had to have surgeries and a full radical hysterectomy was part of that. (They said I couldn't lift over some small weight. I can't remember maybe 15 or 20 pounds. Trying to deal with a two-year that you can't lift is a struggle!) I've had messed up hormones and sleep disturbances since. Then it was jumping through adoption hoops. Now I only have three of the 11 children at home but there is always something...a daughter giving birth our of state or whatever else they need. I don't even feel like we've ever homeschooled very well but I wouldn't change it for anything. God has used my weaknesses in those or my children in such beautiful ways. They may have struggled with some things but that made them more talented in other ways. I look at different homeschool families and most seem successful to me no matter which way they homeschool. I finally figured out that it's because they love their kids and want what's best for them so it's worth the sacrifice. I guess it takes all kinds of people. Thank you. I do appreciate these types of videos and writings the best where people admit it's not always easy and things don't always flow perfectly.

Thank you for this good word. Sometimes we are looking for these types of videos to give us a list of practical things to do to make us "feel better." But those are temporary fixes for the real issue, which is our heart. Thank you for the reminder that being with Jesus is what equips us for the ministry of family and homeschool. Thankful for you!

Thank you for your wise words. I am a homeschooling mother of 8 children (7mths-11years old) and completely know the overwhelming feelings that accompanies this bitter sweet road. I think you are totally right with your advice of turning to prayer in those tough/challenging times. It is the only answer to peace isn’t it?!😜 I had never put the ministry of Christ and the life of a mothering side by side..WOW.. what encouragement to think about it like this.. thank you for bringing it to light and for all your advice. Such a good reminder. ❤ The other day I was reminded of the verse that talks about Jesus coming not to be served, but to serve. I was convicted about needing to remember my purpose in motherhood is to serve and teach my kids to serve Jesus too. 😊

When i watch videos about homeschooling i usually see religious people do this. Is this because of cultural degeneration at school.? Movies and most of the people make fun with religion and i hate it. As a muslim i truly love Jesus (pbuh)..
