Preschool is such a fun stage! I was wanting curriculum that was fun, literature based, and a good foundation for kindergarten. I think I have found it! Come check out the three curriculums we are going to dip into with my three year old this next school year.

I have a kiddo turning 3 and we have already starting doing some of the very basic counting activities (all hands on) from Preschool Math by Kate Snow. We also are about 5 pages into Preschool Math for Beginners by Jade A. (On Amazon). For ABCs we will be playing games and then will utilize Delightful Reading Level 1 (learning letters and sounds) from Simply Charlotte Mason, closer to when my 3yo will be 3.5. Lastly, well be using some of the lifeskills/memory work/book suggestions from The Gentle & Classical Preschool from Life Abundantly Blog. We are 5weeks away from wrapping up my oldest kiddos prek year so this is all fresh in my mind!

You know how much I love the preschool stage! I agree with what you said about how some personalities like independent play more than others. My second son seems to like independent play much more than my first son, which I think is why I ended up starting preschool unusually early with my first son, and probably won't start as early with my second, just because they have those different personalities.

We have the slightly older version of that Sonlight Preschool and have read all those great books so many times. It didn't have the activity set or the focus on letters and numbers when we got it, so that's a nice addition.

I’ve never used a curriculum for pre school as I’m also a pre school teacher and teach thru play. My older kids went to pre school. I love using 2 or more curriculums and picking stuff out that they need to learn. At the moment I don’t have a preschooler.

Yes, I used to teach at a preschool too. We played a lot and just sprinkled in learning opportunities all throughout the day!

I am also a former preschool teacher. This has caused me to WAY overbuy! I have bought so many different things I doubt we will get to half of it. But hey, I have options LOL! I think part of it for me is that in some areas my daughter is advanced (literacy, math) and in others she is a little behind (all things fine motor). Plus I keep trying to find the perfect social skills, self care and Bible portions that work for us. So we will have a huge hodge podge.
