It depends on my daughter! Sometimes she's in a mood to get it out of the way when she gets up. Other days, she's not ready until the evening.

Thank you for sharing! I also have a second grader using TGTB math and LA level 2, explode the code and handwriting. Could you share more on what journal prompts you do with him? Thanks!!
@lifewithginab2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! ❤ we use a lot of the same curriculums! So right now all I do for him is whatever book he is reading he does a journal entry in his journal... the journal has a place for him to put the date on top, draw a picture and he writes a couple of sentences. He usually reads a level 2 book every day. We usually do his journal about 3 x a week. Hope that helps. I will probably share more about our journal in another video ❤ my son is a definitely a reluctant writer though so I am trying to make writing fun!

what does Nicholas do rest of the day after he's done with lessons/independent work before 8 am ? How can you focus on your work ? How can we ensure they don't watch TV all day or keep coming into our office because they are bored or something like that?
@lifewithginab5 ай бұрын
@@namitarohan9341 @namitarohan9341 my work is flexible right now... so I work mostly in the evenings... during this time when i filmed this, my husband was actually with the kids during the day, and we had various outings during the day ... and they would meet up with groups of other kids... right now, I work from home but more at the end of the day, and during the day, they play outside, explore our 40 acres, hang out with their friends who also homeschool, and live on our street... sometimes we have field trips... every day looks different... I have a 1 hour time slot for electronics, but everyone has to do what's best for them. I don't have the same job as someone else, so we adjust how we can with the resources that we have. Hope this helps!
