I'm with you on the dishes! Laundry can be done a few times a week but dishes are daily!

I love the way you talk to your children. My siblings come around and do the squeaky voice at my kids and they trip out because I talk to them like they’re people and not babies.

NANA BANANA Aw, thank you! Talking to kids like they are people is important to me too! ♥️

I came across your channel today and I’m so grateful for it! Thank you for creating and sharing. I’ve watched 4 videos this morning and each one had very helpful and important information. My 12 year old daughter has “struggled” with learning and for years it’s been tough on her and me as her parent. Because of it I thought it was something I was failing at. She was homeschooled through public charter school for 3 years and then in public school for 2 years and back to homeschooling now for 2 years. I have been realizing just what you said, to stop comparing your child to other children and encourage and celebrate where they’re at. It’s hard to change that mindset when that’s what you’re taught from educators. She’s in 7th grade this year and things are clicking and sticking SOO much more. It was just the right timing for her brain and school is so much smoother now. My 10 year old son also has challenges with focus etc and we use a lot of the strategies you need mentioned in another video. Anyway, thanks again and I look forward to watching more from you!

That is so wonderful to hear! I love it when we let kids go at their pace and we start to see things “stick”! ♥️ Good luck this year!

This is exactly how we homeschool. 🌹

You might be the most inspiring homeschool mom for me. I just discovered you and I'm loving your videos. You have a great approach to homeschooling, parenting and you also seem to keep yourself and your home together (would love a Day in the Life video)! We just started homeschooling our two littles (K and 1), and previously they were world schooled, so this is our first year of *actual* education... Looking for inspiration and recommendations. I'm loving what you put out, please keep inspiring xo

Well, this was filmed and uploaded before #coronavirus2020 and now it seems pretty timely! 😂 Looks like you’re all homeschooling next week! 🥳✌🏼👏🏼

Oh my gosh, I am struggling with this so much! Completely agree with you!! My 12 year old has been in PS up until the last school year, so have deschooled. Just not sure what to actually do so that he is learning…. Without pushing!

We call ourselves relaxed homeschoolers. We do unit studies along with a lot of interest led learning.

I wonder if the information stored in the brain is stored in a different place because of the emotional connection to the information. Fun video. Thanks for sharing a look into your life.

I'd love to know where to find the writing pad your son is using for his dictation. I love how you school, I use similar methods.
@themofleycrew43673 жыл бұрын
It’s from Abeka, and super old! 😆 I would imagine their writing pads still look similar to this... I really love their “upstairs, downstairs, basement” concept for learning to write letters!
