Hi Tom, not even sure where to begin. Don't stop talking to us. You are the kind of mentor/friend every musician needs. Its not just technique, licks, chops, its so much more....its a great human being who is a great musician just sharing his musical life with us. What is there not to love. Hey Tom, just being yourself is what makes this work. Most of us know that’s how you roll. I had two guitar instructors growing up. The first one, although a great player, only spoke to admonish my pitiful skills. The second one would show me a cool concept to work on and then we’d sit and talk about anything and everything for hours. I learned a lot more from the second one. Many of us homeschoolers value your perspective and wisdom. I say talk as much as you want. I really appreciate your lessons, even those that extend beyond the fretboard. Thanks!

the only living MC5 member is drummer Dennis Thompson, since brother Wayne rest his soul, passed. 'Machine Gun' is unknown for the most part, but he and Jerry Edmonton (Steppenwolf) are 2 examples of guys who are superior to most rock drummers, but don't get the credit. keep playing, Uncle Larr. when your fretting hand touches the board, magic happens. my oldest Buddy Bob Taylor told me about you. Man….having a guy like you (who can really play, has vintage guitar experience, and expertise) find a unicorn vintage guitar, then have the best luthiers in the states go over it and get it to maximum playability; is there a better guy/situation to buy a vintage guitar from?!!!! It’s been vetted, confirmed, repaired, tweaked by some of the best. I’m still wishing I sold one of kidneys to buy that 335….I’ve been though dozens of crappy guitars. I feel sick I didn’t buy that guitar. There are so many dogs out there aren’t what sellers say they are. Thank you for being a caretaker of these instruments and keeping rock and musicianship alive!
