A lot of people apparently think i am saying “Neutron” in this video...its actually a Mu-tron Phasor II....great pedal...they usually sell in the 400-ish range. A couple other phasers (or phasOrs as some say) that are contenders for the “alltime greatest” category...the original Electro-Harmonix Small Stone...and the 70s Electro-Harmonix Poly Phase (great sound, if you can get past the volume drop when the effect is engaged) Party on lads!

I remember being in David Palmers Music store, circa 1979 and opted for a Phase 45 over the Mutron. Silly me.
@gwbuilder57793 жыл бұрын
Hey there Tom, not at all surprised when you said the Mu Tron was your preferred choice. Hahaha. As soon as I heard the comparison I thought of your bridge only guitars. The Mu just sounds like a bridge setup and the Phase90 sounds more like a neck setup. I'm more of a flanger guy, but the low and slow is definitely the way to go. Have a great Sunday with the family.

Hey Tom, I’m a guitar and classic car guy and own 64 lemans and 65 mustang and first want to say thank you so much as you have helped me so much through a tough year with your videos. so please take this as heartfelt advice. I’ve Seen your car in previous post, and it’s a driver which is the best type of classic to own. Today’s garages don’t understand old car tech, if they can’t plug it into a computer to tell them whats wrong with it their lost. I found out about 20 years ago I needed to learn myself because old cars are like a women, if you really listen they will tell you exactly what they need. The Chevy 65 impala is a pretty straight forward car especially if it’s mostly all original. I figured out a while ago I was able to do most of the engine and suspension work myself (including alignments) on my classic better then anyone else. Modern shops just don’t understand how to work on pre-OBD II (computer) cars. Bottom line Classic cars are not as hard as you think to work on and require minimal tools and you could really enjoy learning and doing it with your young son just like I did with my son who was a baby when I bought my first classic and I always played guitar so he been exposed to both his whole life and now All these years later I really love doing both with him. Just be careful with your hands and patient with a problem and I guaranty you will be happier in the long run doing most things yourself.

Thanks Little Tommy for this, especially the Genesis. Great stuff. I miss my Mu-Tron Phasor II and my 70s MXR Phase 100.
