I’m not the kind of quilter who has to run out and buy the latest fabric lines. But I watched Jenny demo a quilt a couple of weeks ago with the Press On line. I just love it. So I treated myself and went out and bought a panel with the irons and a 10” stacker from the line. I can’t wait to make it. Great interview, thanks for the opportunity to get to know Janet.

Janet and Misty, please design a quilt (maybe a panel kit) inspired by the A Patchwork Quilt of Favorite Tales book that you had with you. That would be amazing!

I love your collections and style. It can be addictive if it is your vibe. What really surprised me is that I am also a junk journaler and am currently working in a huge one, of course made of “junk” from paper bags I am collecting. I will certainly look for your journal fabrics, at the same time I am quilting and doing some “other “ stuff. Thanks for sharing and keep on enjoying the ride!!!❤

I remember the Tall Book of Fairy Tales! I was so scared of the Hansel and Gretal story. My mom also crossed out some of the graphic words! Fairy tales were more gruesome than they are now. I am intrigued by your designs, Janet!

This interview has been my fav! I love that Janet acknowledges God in her artwork. Each of her lines carry a story and have so much history. She should have a biography of all the lines and the stories behind them. I junk journal also. I would LOVE if those design books were available in paper for the junk journal world. If you see this comment Janet, bravo for all you do and all you are! 👩🌾💙🧵🪡👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌

Janet - very inspirational... however, as an Alaskan, I'm disappointed in your map depicting of my state. The area that I live in, SE Alaska, has been completely irradicated 😮 - Alaskan are a tough breed, but we often feel like a foreign country to the rest of "the states". The Panhandle is missing....
