Best wishes to this new year and good luck with achieving your goal of selling your current homestead. Any particular location you have in mind? We happy to follow along your journey. Our goal continues from last year where we moved to France to our homestead. Most important goal was to live debt free from then on. We achieved. So now we try bit by bit to make it our forever homestead with lovely veggie garden, herbs, chickens, connection with nature and community and enjoy the calmness ☺

Make health your priority!💛 Eating animals isn't necessary. Best wishes

Thank you, I disagree and think consuming meat is actually vital to our health. Fake meats are much more detrimental to our health.

@Theclancyfamilyhomestead definitely don't eat fake meats either! 80/10/10 is a good start for fiber, proteins, and fats. Animals can be helpful to keep us alive, but if you can grow your own food, eating them isn't necessary. We've been trained to eat animals. Do you love animals?
@Theclancyfamilyhomestead18 күн бұрын
I do love animals and give my animals the absolute best life. The processing of our meat animals is quick so they don’t suffer. Humans have been consuming animals for our entire existence. Our bodies are designed to consume them but I do think the way they are raised makes a massive impact on whether they are beneficial for us or not. CAFO raised beef or conventionally raised pork is all awful for us but pasture raised meat is wonderful and very healthy. I do believe in balance but I will not ever eliminate animal protein from my diet. I was at one time a vegetarian and I felt sluggish and weak the whole time. We raise, hunt or source locally all of our meat.

@Theclancyfamilyhomestead my apologies for being so direct. It took me a year to mentally prepare not to eat animal products. Be patient with yourself. It took years of training to make you think eating animals was necessary. It might take years to undue that brainwashing. The powers that be have made us addicted to convenience. Homesteading and becoming healthy are terribly inconvenient! Lol🤣 Best wishes💛

@ I appreciate other views and being able to discuss them so no apologies needed. We can agree to disagree and maybe my opinion will change in time but I don’t believe it will. I can respect your viewpoint all the same.
