Great ideas! We do a lot of salads too. We keep a couple things on hand to brighten our salads a bit: organic sliced baby beets, olives, and pickled asparagus are some of our go to favorites.

Is there any substitute for the arrowroot flour in the eggy pancake recipe? I love when your family shares recipes. This is an American breakfast thats not laden with sugar. 👍

Cassava or tapioca flour would work. But with all the eggs holding things together, you could use just about any flour you like. Blessings to you.🙂

We just like it chopped into bite size pieces, steamed (or boiled in a little water), with some butter, salt, and pepper added after staining out the cooking water.🙂

What is your routine to take care of the flowers they are prolific.

We just keep them watered and use as many as we can for bouquets. 🙂 I don't fertilize any of our flowers other than our rose and the potted flowers. I do try to prune back any dead growth or spent blooms, but not as diligently as I should.

We do our best to avoid weedy and woodsy areas during tick season by keeping pathways clear. We have about 70 Muscovy ducks that roam free. We also do regular tick checks to make sure none of them bite in for long, if at all. 👍 Essential oil sprays are nice, but for a family of nine that gets quite expensive.
