I’m Italian, my mom made Navy bean soup! Wow, we didn’t even have all those veggies in ours! Just beans and greens! 😋 And, she didn’t can it. I had no idea that we were too poor to buy meat! Now that I think about all the kinds of meals she made I realize she did a lot with what she had. It was always amazingly delicious food! ♥️

The deer got into my hightunnel and ate ALL my greens. My back door now has a doorknob on it. They were just able to push the door open to eat everything and take shelter from the deep freeze and snow

Are those ratios correct before I copy the recipe down? Or, do you want to make a correction before I copy it down? I'm confused...

Mrs H is so awesome! My DIL gifted me with a pressure cooker. I had been looking an they were scarce at that time. But she lives in VA and found a presto 23 qt one. The exact one i wanted. When i went on line for canning help...there was Mrs H. I would literally can anything she canned! She is so good and tells it like it should be...with her "ball canning book!" LOL Because she could add humor that is part of her personality, I loved her and stayed with her! MR H adds his own personality also! LOLOL.

Last year I canned a lot of your canning recipes. This year I am canning sauces and ingredients canning. Can you get addicted to canning. I love it. Last week pinto beans with spices. I’m 24 with three little boys that can eat.. my mom is 40 yrs older than me and we watch these videos together.. I have started canning and she plans too as well. Your videos remind her of her greatest memories of her grandmother(the last person to can in this family) and how long her canned foods lasted her husband and grandchildren after she passed. Don’t stop ur videos!! The young people are canning… a very Divine guidance brought me here. I know it’s doing the same for others. DONT STOP!!

Love your video. And I'm canning now more then I ever have. My 96 year old grandmother is proud I'm canning like she did (they canned or froze everything on the family farm). I even have a couple of her old blue ball jars (they sit up on a shelf so they don't get damaged). I've become a mix technology and the old ways.

😢I saw this video and thought Mrs. H soup looks delicious. Never made it the way you did. Paired down the recipe to feed 6 for dinner to try. Girl, I had one small bowl left for lunch the next day( which I claimed).I will definitely be making your big batch to can and put on our shelf for future use. Everybody needs to can these days in order to be sustainable. Those jars in walmart are no accident, I think. Some out here in the world are not sleeping, we are wide awake and see whats coming
