It’s easier to buy organic citrus, you’ll have less chemicals to clean from the skins, and invest in a cheap zester, which will make it quicker to get the zest without the white pith from any citrus fruit. You’ll soak the fruit in a combination of tablespoon of baking soda, tablespoon of vinegar, and a quart of water for 5 minutes, then rinse off. Let the fruit dry off before zesting it.

Can u give us a guide on how to choose glycerin, there's food grade and USP. Some food grade that says use for lotions,cosmetic, I'm confused.
@roki53374 жыл бұрын
USP is United States Pharmacopeia which means it has been verified. U.S.P. A chemical grade of sufficient purity to meet or exceed requirements of the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP); acceptable for food, drug, or medicinal use; may be used for most laboratory purposes. If it says that it is safe for consumption. Food grade is also safe for consumption but is often used along with the USP to show purity. as far as use in lotions most folks don't want to apply something that isn't food grade to the skin.

@grammyspieface14 жыл бұрын
I am dehydrating my orange peels now, but have another bag of organic, I am going to use for this, orange extract would be great with chocolate... no pith!! Oh and lemon extract , is that coming up?? I saw another lady, she uses fabric scraps to wrap her jars , that need dark and tie a piece of fabric or rubber bands to keep fabric on it
