Toni Mitchell we just have so much to remember the older we get, all that information we’ve been gathering over the decades. I find I can achieve more with this method of organisation and can definitely be more creative by not having to remember everything. I wish you the best with your binder.

You gave me some additional ideas for what to do at my house. I really dislike having things in the wrong place it's so frustrating. Having foto printouts of the organization of the closet shelf etc really helps with someone Not knowing where things go (& also PREVENTs the ever present teenagers mantra of : well I don't know where you want it! from coming out of their mouths. ) Lol

Edie Boudreau 😂 hello Edie, I love this concept. My mantra is ‘Everything has a place and there is a place for everything’ And for the majority of home life, this has worked exceptionally well. Everyone here is good at keeping the place organised. A photo for our tool organisation could prove beneficial though. 🔨 🔧 🗜⚒

Moat Cottage Homesteading whenever u redo something like a cabinet shelf or closet this helps everyone remember the changes. It also helped with 3 toddlers as they could tell by foto what went where.

Yes. Seasonal is absolutely important. Need another folder for family health matters with a page of MED'S, visits, fone calls, names of those seen or spoken to with date & time. Also what conditions are involved as some can be repeat illnesses. This can be very helpful if someone has to step in & take over for any reason.

Edie Boudreau hi Edie, a family folder and a diary are also ways we keep well organised, with the family members lives, financial running of the home and what’s on. It means I can relax and not forget anything.

You can do it! It is totally worth the effort and you can start with less categories that I have, so it is not so overwhelming to start off.
