The older I get, the more I long for minimalism which is not possible if you make things and even more impossible if you sell. Everything requires so much stuff. I love my bedroom - it's so peaceful because there is hardly anything in there. Good job cleaning out in such hot weather 😊

You helped me even though I live in a small town, I can make a small garden and do some freezing vegetables and sauces and just live a slow pace life. Lol at 64 I am enjoying my happy place. Using cloth instead of paper towels, products making homemade cleaning supplies, and cooking from scratch decluttering mostly unnecessary stuff . Love my older cookbooks. I was blessed to get them along with a book to do container gardening herbs, too. You're an amazing person!!!!😊

@@pr9764 thank you Andrea- there is an amazing ending tho- my dad said he was an athiest up to 2 months before he passed away.. On April 1, 2024 ( of all days) he said the prayer with me to receive Jesus as Lord.. so amazing...and tho he had so many terminal issues, he was in no pain, and passed very peacefully with his favorite nurse there.. so, while I will miss him, i know where he is, and who he's with, and that he's healthy and can walk..but there is def an exhaustion, so thank you for your kind words and prayers. God's grace is def here .

In our area of the California Sierras, we have a lot of historical homesteads that date back to the 1800's and many of them never had animals.

I want to reorganize spaces so bad but I have a lifting, carrying restriction of 5 pounds. No bending or twisting or reaching either. A year ago I broke 2 vertebrae and they aren’t healing well due to severe osteoporosis. It is hard to abide by these restrictions when I am used to being active and see work that needs to be done. I wanted to say you are blessed to have your girls living so close to you. I have one daughter living an hour away and the other one is 3 hours away.
