If I can call everyone's attention to their weapons, you'll notice they all upgraded their go-to weapon into something shiny and new except for Dirk. This raises the concern of just how awesome the sword in his hands is. Pre-scratch, it WAS capable of cutting the Beat Mesa...which took an enlargened eldritch artifact to Scratch completely otherwise. Rambling now.

@gallowsCalibrator Good point! I beleive that the sword, much like the warhammer of Zillyhoo or Vriskas dice, is a form of disc 1 nuke item. Great early on, but mediocre at best in tge late game.

Random fact, all the planet names are" land of (burial place) and (noble gas) this shows the dead and inert session they have and all the monsters are skeletons because one of the rock slabs in janes land says they were late by thousands of years

Waaaiiitwaitwaitwait. If they had to wear gas masks on the land of Krypton does that mean the other lands also had their gas in the atmosphere? Because helium makes your voice higher and xenon makes it lower, so for any events on those planets the kids would have spoken in higher/lower voices :B

God tiers could also negate the effects of krypton poisoning, and the molecular composition of trolls could allow both to be on the planet without gas masks, for as we do see both later on without gas masks while on the planet

Krypton is pretty heavy though, per atom it's heavier than carbon. So they'd probably be fine on the rooftop. Well, cinsidering that the void between sessions is basically filled with air.

I will say this (its unrelated to homestuck but very importart concerning irl safety): while helium isnt toxic its also NOT air and you can die from suffocation breathing it. Its very dangerous.

We saw John's Imps moments before they got prototyped though. When Nannasprite did her explanation, you could see the pure black Shale Imps get their Harlequin clothes. In any case, the Denizen makes the Underlings. This means that he might have made those Underlings millennia ago, but that since the Nobles didn't arrive (yet), they had to keep waiting for them to come, causing them to be undead now.

@cameron1557: While not exactly poisonous, Krypton is a very heavy gas, therefore there is a lot of it settled at the lower altitudes of the planet. There, it would be dense enough to suffocate anybody breathing without a filter or gas mask. Xenon acts similarly, but it all just settles down at the bottom of the big purple x on Jake's planet, so it's safer for him.

***** It was the mask of shielding, allowing the user to protect their own being from attacks they were aware of, almost seems fitting considering a gas mask shield the wearer from airborne pollutants and toxic gases. Probably just a coincidence the design of the gas mask looks similar to the Hau.
