For those who don't know, in pool, when one player pockets the cue ball, their turn ends and the other player's turn begins. This is called a scratch. So it only makes sense that when the beta Sburb players initiate the Scratch, ending their universes in favour of that of the alpha kids and cherubs' universes, Doc Scratch, who represents the cue ball, is replaced by a new entity, being Lord English. Additionally, Doc Scratch constantly eludes to how great of a host he is throughout his takeover of the narrative. In this flash, Lord English manifests out of him - in other words, he hosted Lord English, so in the end, he stayed true to his word, even upon death.

One of those conditions is Scratch's own death, while another is the death of the human and troll universes, and the creation of the green sun, all of which were caused by a mixture of Hussie, Bec Noir, the death of Snowman, and the detonation of the tumor.
