That bird looked like an osprey to us. We saw one at Mosquito lake and at first thought it was an eagle. Great to see another Casita was there. Chuck, I want some of the meat sauce! 🤣
@enroutewithchuckandcherie8 ай бұрын
Not an osprey, we believe it was a younger hawk. Always see them Casitas now.

Great small campground! Camped there many times and used to work for Stow Parks for several years checking in campers! But you are 100% right, could use some TLC. But thankfully the prices are very reasonable. Absolutely love Chris's shirt! Make it so!

It is a nice place. With a few reasonable upgrades this place could really be a destination

The bird looked like an eagle to me! BTW, Chuck, its called a pileated woodpecker, lol. The pileated woodpecker looks like woody the woodpecker and has a red crest. Enjoyed you video as always!
@enroutewithchuckandcherie8 ай бұрын
Pleated, Pileated 😂😂🤷🏾♂️. Not an Eagle but we think it may have been a young hawk. Appreciate the support thank you

Thank you for a views of Silver Springs Camp grounds. I'd never heard of the area and love exploring new camping opportunities. By the way, the bird you were seeking to identify is a Pileated Woodpecker, pronounced "pie-lee-a-ted"

You are welcome. I’ve been told my annunciation of that bird was incorrect 😂😂🤷🏾♂️. They are beautiful birds though

The bird calling 😂 would've been cool though if they called back. That's a really nice bike trail

@enroutewithchuckandcherie8 ай бұрын
What’s up Rich. It’s a small campground but needs to level out the sites. The dog park is pretty cool though and the National Park is 15-20 minutes away.

Oh no. No no no. Raised in Cuyahoga Falls and I still live here 😅😅😅 I guess I'll forgive you. I forget that there is a campground there. I've rode my bike from behind Waterworks up through Brecksville before. Of course I was just shy of 20 so I don't think I could do it again

I believe the first bird was an eagle. The one you heard was definitely a pileated woodpecker.

We saw the first bird fly out and it wasn’t an eagle. Mystery bird 😂😂
@paulmerritt75408 ай бұрын
That bird wasn’t a pileated woodpecker, but sure looked like a hawk. If larger than that maybe even a bald eagle?
