In the mid 80's I was in my mid twenties, and living in my still home town of Williamsport, PA. A friend and I were sitting in the then green painted, wooden right field bleachers of Bowman Field for a Williamsport Bills game. Mr. Stotts was sitting by himself just a few rows behind us in the near empty bleachers. He didn't know me, but I knew who he was. I turned around to say hello. By the end of the game Mr. Stottsj, my friend, and I were sitting together and enjoying the game together. What more can you say about this man? This is a memory that I will never forget!

I shot pool in a pool hall in the "herdic block" in the mid 1980s before I graduates WAHS (87). I played on the Stotts field on 4th street.. not organized teams... just neighborhood kids when I lived on Race street just west of the bridge.

My family's contribution contribution to Williamsport was The Balls Mills Music Festival sponsored by The Octagon. Great story behind that one. Dad also brought Three Dog Night to the area.

4:01 i think i see the P&R (Reading Lines) station. Um at 7:06 thats 2 diff rr stations you show photos of. 1st one which was across from Park Place was the P&E Phila and Erie later PRR tracks. and the 2nd one with the market st bridge is P&R Phila and Reading line which stayed the same till 1976 when Conrail took over. Herdic Block, wow the bad area near the Shamrock now a days. The orig ballfield is the parking lot outside Bowman field. theres a statue to the 1st game there.

I almost got to shingle that church steeple. I actually did get to paint the exterior of the Park Home, though. The west most porch, which it showed here, was where I was standing when the planes hit the towers. ✌️

This story of Darleen made me cry.,coming from West Virginia I have experienced almost the same life. Let us not judge until we have walked in another persons shoes..Sure a lot was not right and there were wrongs.....but how many rights were in this video? That is something the video does not show just the bad and that was wrong of the producer who made this....God bless and help anyone who has and have walked in Darleens shoes.

The sadness lies in the broken relationship of the children and Darlene. It did not seem to point out right or wrong but what just was and is and if anyone thinks the life of Darlene and her family have so many "rights" in their life, well, by all means go live the life. Most of us who have walked in those shoes did not remain walking in them if we could move on and get a better pair of shoes. I always thought it would be awesome to have two husbands but a husband and a companion, like Darlene has, might also be pretty cool.
