This is making memories! One of the problems we have in this world is not enough good crazy kind of people who make lasting memories with their family -- I remember taking my 73 year old mother sledding years ago, now that I no longer have her with me, I am so glad I made those memories!

I used to use the snowmobile to pack the snow for my daughter and the neighbors. I am not sure if they enjoyed going down or being towed back to the top more. I wish I would have thought to video some of those days. What you did here is really awesome. My hat is off to you.

Adam, there are so many kids in the world that only dream of having such a wonderful crazy dad like you. These are memories they will never forget as they all age, and will grow up to share them with their children. I wish i could have grown up with a dad 1/10th as good as you are to your kids. Some of us didn`t get to have that. I enjoyed every one of the smiles and laughter on your kids faces. It was priceless. Hat`s off to you, sir. God Bless you all.

These are the things that make you a great Dad and neighbor. We had a blizzard one year and made a sledding course in our property. These are the memories that your kids will carry on to their children. Good job! I like the drone shots and multiple camera angles as well. The drone shadow looks like a DJI Phantom…

A great sledding hill Adam. I recall all the work my Dad did for kids. We lived in Northern Quebec. -20 degrees was the norm. And lots of snow. The tracks were made with an older vintage snowmobile.....The hill was a great long ride down a chute..quite wide..at the end was a circle of track that allowed for hot chocolate, benches and a wind break. When I look back it was a lot of work and preparation. And you are right, the adults enjoyed the rides too. The best part as you mentioned the ride back up with that old snow machine towing several toboggans and sleds and tubes back up...was VERY good.... What good memories I have being 16 years old again watching your filming with that drone. Well done Adam, making memories for your family and friends is worth so much more than you might realize. I'm 80 now and recall so much my Dad and Mom did in those 1950's days in Quebec............ Warm regards Ted, in Chilliwack BC. Feb 12th 2022

Funny thing is I just did something similar for my kids on the hill at the side of our house. Rode the Polaris sportsman down with the plow then put in a couple of small jumps for them. My kids and the neighbors had hours of fun. So I’d say it’s not crazy at all. 👍🏼

Nice work! I use a snowmobile with a lawn roller behind it to groom our sliding hill. Our 3rd Annual Sliding party will be held at our cabin in Northern Wisconsin in a couple of weeks. I'll have to take more video this year! My brother and I made a rope-tow out of an abandoned lawn mower because it as a full-time job hauling kids and tubes back to the top with a snowmobile and freighter sled!!! Modeled it after one you see at small rural ski hills :-).

Adam i recommend plowing one more lane for the ranger and 4 wheeler that way it has its own trail down to pick up the kids. Then loop it over to your driveway. Next get an ice fishing sled and hook that up to the ranger the kids can get in and hold the sleds as well. I also recommend plowing the lower portion of the hill similar like a parking lot and can build up piles of snow for stopping but that will make it easier for them to walk over to the ranger for a ride back up to the top. We do this on our lake cabin up north and kids and adults spend all day on the hill. Looks like a lot of fun was had by all.

I loved the way you made multiple runs for them to use. I wouldn't have thought about doing that. I admire that you actually go out and do it. I've been talking about it but never get the tractor out to do it. I always thought about a "burn barrel" at the top of the hill too to build a small fire inside to warm up before the next run or for the parents to stand around and keep warm.

Adam, you are just maximizing the winter fun. Snow and winter weather is only good if you have time to play in it. Getting rides back to the top of the hill to go again helps get more rides down fit into the day. And inviting friends and family to enjoy it too is what makes memories. That's what is great.
@shademan4077

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of tubing in the snow with friends. Your time very well spent on doing this for your family and friends. You could have one lane with a few small snow ramps ever so often down it that with tubes you could get some air...just be careful that to big a ramp could be slightly dangerous.

Next year - only plow a trail to get back up the hill. Maybe build a motorized rope system to pull you up the hill. If you need more floatation, break out the king size air mattress. The cheap ones slide great.
