You should try banana, oats and orange juice - in the oven and they’re like a little soft biscuit for them 😊 no frying needed and my boy loves them x 1 banana 40ml orange juice 75g oats Mash all together and I shape into 6 biscuits, cook in the oven 180 for 10 minutes ish x

George is so good at eating! My little boy is 8 months and he’s definitely not eating that much but I think it’s on my part with being nervous of him choking plus I really struggle for ideas and like you want to make it so that we are eating the same or similar things! We use pouches sometimes to be honest I don’t see the issue if they are healthy as sometimes I can give Oliver finger foods he won’t touch but a pouch he’ll have the whole thing! Loved this video would definitely like to see more meal ideas!! X

I deffo thing George has started eating more since he’s 9-10 months! It all comes with time doesn’t it! I agree about pouches, deffo nothing wrong with it in my eyes! I will do more videos like this over the next couple of months 😌

My little boy is 10 months and we cut out his 3rd bottle a few weeks ago the health visitor said that around 400-600ml is ideal for his age. And a vitamin if they are having under 500ml per day, so he now has 2x 7oz bottles, 3 meals and a afternoon snack. Hope this helps x

I give my 9 month old a morning bottle first thing, one after his afternoon nap around 3pm them before he goes to bed - all 7oz ☺️ I’m in the same boat as you with the fruit, Grayson loves it. I’ve been doing like an omelet cut into strips, cheese and frozen broccoli that I can defrost in the microwave super quick x

Snack / lunch ideas.. scrambled egg is a good one or hard boil a load of eggs at the start of the week and they are great for a few days in the fridge, just slice up and enjoy! Pasta with Philadelphia cheese, again cooked pasta can be kept in the fridge for a few days then mix with the sauce maybe some peas / sweet corn / add tuna maybe. ‘Snacky’ plates for lunch work well too such as grated cheese / puffs / ham / fruit / yoghurt / wrap / sandwich etc xxx

My little girl loves bananas too, and eats it the same way as George! She loves carrot sticks as well, I cut them up similar to the banana... maybe a bit smaller and steam them and she goes crazy over them. I’m the same at the minute trying to think of more savoury snacks as even carrots are quite sweet!

George is such a good eater! Savoury ideas could be a veggie omelette cut into strips, less sweet veggies like broccoli and cauliflower steamed/boiled and cut into strips. Also ripe avocado, green beans, scrambled eggs, cheese on toast.

Efa is only just starting out on her weaning journey but I know you asked for any recommendations - she’s loving the potato, carrot and sweetcorn balls from Annabel Karmel’s recipe as a finger food. I’ve frozen some and whilst they can be a main meal, I’ve given her one ball as a snack before now. It’s got breadcrumbs and some cheese in too. I personally don’t include the sweet chilli sauce though. So maybe something like that. Or how about falafel as a snack? Xx

I have a 9 month old but he doesn't hold his bottle , I still feed him myself + he doesn't eat proper food like pancakes or potatoes .. he doesn't have teeth yet and i'm so worried he would choke on something .. he is not having no where near the amount of food your baby is having... I don't know if I should worry or it's normal..
@bethanyritson42873 жыл бұрын
My almost 9mo is the same with his bottles, I hold them for him most of the time, he also has no teeth yet and actually does much better with blw. He only has 2 bottles a day (morning and night) as he’s never been fussed about his milk but he eats 3 meals all finger foods. It’s a scary process but definitely worth doing. I wouldn’t worry about not having teeth, those gums are stroooong! Keep going mama 👏🏼 every baby is different and your doing great 💖
