I remember doing 'write on my back' in school as far back as the late 80s. But no paper was used. We just used our finger to write letters on someones back to spell a word or just by the letter. Why don't you get your grandma out of there for right now? You could have her come live with you while this is all still going on and hitting the high risk populations. I don't understand why anyone with options to bring their grandparents or parents into their home from their assisted living faculties would not do it right now. Those places are cesspools right now and the amount of people dying in them is so sad. It would probably not be easy and would be an extra burden on you to bring her into your house but it would be the right thing to do to help keep her chances of getting it down since you are all quarantined for the most part anyways. Is there something I am missing on why that would not be a viable option? Or maybe you just haven't thought about it before? Wishing you, your family and your grandma the best!

I have a vet appointment for my cat and they said we have to drop him off they are declawing him they wanted us to drop him off and get him in morning cause he needs night to rest I told them I’m not leaving my cat alone and they refused our service don’t know if you ever had that problem but why would I leave my cat alone in cage not right to me

You do know that declawing your cat is considered inhumane? I know there are some States that consider this procedure still legal and "humane" but it's not. The cat suffers for the rest of his or her life. They need their nails for balance, to dig especially in their litter box, and to defend themselves if they need to. They basically take out their entire nails, it's not like they're trimming down the nails. They take out their nails right down to the root! Walking will always be painful for them. A friend of mine had a cat and his parents declawed him back when it was still legal and considered humane in my State, and they said it was the worst thing they every did. That poor cat would cry a lot because he was in pain. He also wasn't able to dig in his litter box. He balance was also affected which as a result also affected his jumps. While the cat was able to live out his life until he had to put down due to illness at 13, 14 years old, he didn't exactly have a full comfortable life as a result of being declawed. If you don't want your cat to scratch on your furniture or walls, buy scratchers and put them in areas of your home that your cat frequents. To make sure that your cat uses these scratchers, put some catnip on them to trick your cat into using the scratchers. That's what my mom did for her cat, and now her cat loves her scratcher. You can by those cheap cardboard catscratchers. Just a thought!

We are getting him declawed because my dad is alergic and the cat loves to play but scratches and it makes my dad break out he is a inside cat only so it is not humane he will be safe

@@biscuitshemi4400 Perhaps you shouldn't have a cat if your dad is that allergic to one. If your cats claws are that long, you can just have the vet trim them down. My mom did that recently for her cat, and it worked wonders. Now she can climb on her and not accidentally hurt her due to kneading on her or getting stuck on her clothes or on other fabrics. That was the main reason why her claws needed trimming. She kept getting stuck to clothing when she would climb on us. Your cat may be an inside cat, but what if one day you cat escapes outside. Inside cats have been know to do this sometimes, and if you cat ever does escape outside and gets lost which I pray never does happen, your cat depending on how far he is from your house, wouldn't be able defend himself if he needed to because his claws would be gone. He would be easy prey for animals outside that might not be so friendly. Also, what actually creates pet allergies isn't their claws and not even their fur but rather their dandruff.
