Beautiful home, but I really enjoyed the young gentlemen’s wonder wit while he was taking us through his home! Also, LOVE that he LOVES his dog, so much that the dog lays on very expensive chairs and sofa! 🐶❤️ I won’t criticize your Murano addiction, because they’re all too stunning to criticize! 😉

I need to let you know that I have watched this tour at least 100 times. I know that sounds crazy. Yes it’s the perfect home and the excellent explanation of everything is so edifying but it’s also this beautiful person and his lovely delivery. I’m in love with him. I’m in love with his partner whom I don’t know. I’m in love with his home. I’m in love with his animals. I feel like he invited us into his sacred space with an openness and kindness that is apparent in every word he says. I’m in love with his spirit. I’m in love with his joy. I’m in love with his humility. I am having a little bit of a rough time right now and this kind handsome person telling us all (and make no mistake. We are all going through something right now) about this beautiful home and giving us non-pedantic lessons in architecture and design and everything else is warming the heart of many of us for sure. I would like to suggest that you possibly give him his own series on Homeworthy. I heard him mention that he does a lot of mid-century modern designs and revivals. Wouldn’t it be nice to have him tell us about his projects? I love Home worthy and many of your tours. You have many great people giving us wonderful tours of their home, but this man has star quality written all over him.❤️

Years ago, I was a design student at UC Davis and we studied Murano, so it was interesting to hear Sonny mentioning Murano during the tour. This viewing was rather lengthy but there were so many interesting details that I had to put off taking care of things I needed to do in order to view the entire video. It was worth it. I'm glad that Sonny showed the one cabinet in the bedroom that was a little cluttered. "Ah," I thought, "he is human." The place, otherwise, was immaculate.

One of the most stunning homes on this channel, as well as one of the best hosts. He is funny and pointed out the interesting aspects of his home. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Oh, in regard to Feng Shui, you should not have a mirror opposite your front door, but yours looks beautiful.

Sonny is hilarious and is a great presenter. I love how he adjusted and forwent his personal style preference to what the house is to save its history. Many people need to do - focus on what the house and year it was built and go from there.

Would have loved to see the kitchen.. What a gorgeous structure. The scale of the windows and interior doors, passageways, molding and details - pure dynamite . Victorian places like this are always complicated, fascinating, and ode to the regal.

Sonny Kearns I love your planter in the window- it is very unique. In his living room I love the wall paper. It is a "live" painting. You have inspired me to go bold with wall paper in my living room. I love the dark brown doors. In the bed room, I love the wall paper behind the bed. It looks like a living tree. I love the Fortuni silk chandeliers. I love the bone inlay chair in their bedroom. I love the fire place with the built in mirror in their bedroom. I love the skylight in the second hallway. Sonny and Zach have a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I lived in SF from 1973 to 1989. Like this lovely gentleman, I loved to walk around, look at the wonderful old homes and wonder who lived in them. So many have been gutted to renovate them. Thank goodness this jewel box is still with stewards who will treasure it for what it offers and gently renovate and rejuvenate it. I look forward to a future tour when the kitchen is done and other rooms too. I would also love to see the garden. I marched with Harvey Milk. I love thinking of him here, back in the day. I also imagine that the seller has a very interesting background in the LGBT community, and having planted that Redwood tree and watching it grow. If the walls could talk! I also worked at a children's center for part of my time in SF that was right around the corner from the painted ladies so I imagine I must have laid eyes on this beauty during that time in my life. I am not sixty-nine years old.

What a delightful and passionate conservatoire! A decorator with an edge that has been kept in a tasteful balance. I live in SF and really appreciate his dedication to preservation. My condo, not home, is a 1907 and still has knob and tube wiring! Did you replace all the electrical wiring? The carriage house in the back was turned into a modern unit😟. George Mascone was raised in that carriage house! The builder was an Italian owner who built our place and the one next door. His daughter who lived in that home, recently died. She had a poster of her dad, who is an original owner of Sunset Scavenger!! Love the SF histories too. ❤😊

I’m fairly certain I visited this home when it was for sale. The skylight and the upstairs were so memorable. I’m so glad someone is taking such good care of this beautiful home with its incredible history. If it’s the home I’m thinking of, it has a very strong connection to the LGBT community history and the saving of the single family homes in the neighborhood.
