I totally agree. The happiest home I've lived in with my parents was a little cabin; we had only a tiny sofa that only two people could sit on, and we used to watch TV all together, seated on the floor with loads of cushions on the floor. Now, their living room is so big that no one stays together anymore...

It’s my favorite, I’m watching it again. I tried to make my 4 kids childhoods very whimsical. Cinderella dresses, doll houses my sons had tee pee’s I’d make the tea parties with our neighbors. I literally had a white picket fence. They had wrought iron Bunny beds. My daughters loved their childhood. My sons ( they’re boys ) 🙄 this mom & dad are fabulous. She definitely is making a magical home for her daughters. Love their princess chair. I can only imagine what their next home will look like. Hope we get to see them again.

In a time of hyperconsumerism and excess, this is extremely refreshing. It is absolutely possible to be happy and content and still dwell in beauty and abundance without having all the things. They are better off than the average New Yorker. A two-bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan facing Central Park is expensive and beyond the affordability of most New Yorkers.

As an interior designer I’m truly impressed with this lovely home. Curated in such a way that it’s thoughtful and easy and calming on the eye. I adore the children’s room. Wow. First off, the lady of the house is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And this couple is so inspirational, to live in such a small space with such beauty and simplicity is what I needed to see right now. I just downsized from a 3 bd 2 bath that's 1100 sq ft, with an attached garage. I'm struggling to determine what to keep and what to 'fit in'. I now feel like I'm in a spacious place. Many people in other countries live in small spaces. In the smaller space, the children will learn to share with one another and communicate more than those children each having their own room. I’m sure they also read and are read to more than other children. This mom is fabulous. Supporting her husband. She can take the children to the park and library. They can do crafts. My hubby also went back to school when he was 33! That is when the Lord blessed us with 3 little girls and we were in a two bedroom apartment as well but 900sq. feet. We actually put a climbing toy in the living room which really made my poor mother roll her eyes! Our daughter are now almost 32,30 and 27!!!! Now they all live in apartments (West Coast of Canada) and one has a little 4 year old!I have very fond memories of our days there! Blessings!

It should be a haven where its located. The park sold them but the “address” is status. We pay $2350 a month for a studio in the Bronx for our college son. I can only imagine this apartment has to be well over $5K+ a month. Nice video!

Husband is in law school for three years and wife stays home to homeschool their 3 daughters. I desperately wish we could learn what they do for income! The space is sweet and lovely and I hope they cherish this special time in their lives as the beautiful family they are. I find it bold to have children in this economy so I applaud them for bucking the trend of 2 or less so many families feel forced to do nowadays. Though the space is small, I know it’s still gotta be pricey in NYC in this location.

before you toss those artworks,take a picture! you can create a scrapbook with fridge gallery images that will grow with time! My childrens Kindegarten teacher gave us a CD of our kids art from school. Not everything went home. Now its a treasure. I luv the home you've created. There is lots of living around the family table. My memories, my kids greatest times were spent at that table. Now my grand kids, growing up fast are doing the same things my kids did and its fun to see my daughter play the mumm and show the little ones how we bake, do holiday crafts and cooking.
