Not everyone is an Interior Designer that is show casing their homes. Also, designer depends on area. I am not one for designer overload and some videos may not be to everyone's taste, as styling your home is a very personal choice. Every home does tell a story of the homeowner.

Such a funny coincidence! I just discovered Yond Interiors last week while searching for inspiration on how to make my place feel cozier this fall and winter. I find fall and winter are really tough with all the grey days, the cold, and how long they last where I live. Anyway, I stumbled across Yond and was planning to make an appointment to meet with her for advice, but maybe I'll just take some ideas from this tour to implement instead! Excited to watch this tour!

I agree about the lighting. The Homeworthy team needs to request that homeowners turn all their lights on for the home tour if there’s not enough natural light. It was especially frustrating in this tour bc the nice lady stated that good lighting was the “hill she would die on”. 😮 if the lights were all switched on it would be much easier to emphasize that point. Love the house, what I could see of it.

It’s a nice home but it’s way too dark, all those tiny dinky lights, lamps wall sconces etc with just 1 bulb in them. Very gloomy.

My thoughts were that the home doesn’t have a lot of natural light and so doesn’t photograph well. I think the photographer should have been able to adjust for this but for some reason they did not. I think it has a very cozy vibe.

Love Homeworthy for ideas, but what i notice is the real designers dont bow to trends-- they have what they love around them. It makes tou think about all those trends that come out every year---they obtain what they like and keep it

Please stop labeling every single bored housewife as a professional interior designer. This label is based off of what qualifications? Just because you like interior design doesn’t mean it’s your own label. Pick another identity label that is other than wife, mommy, or SAHM. Mostly every single person who owns a property is going to design their own places. It DOES NOT mean that you are a real interior designer.
