I say this as one who is not hooked on drugs or booze but could easily be persuaded by homelessness; Give them money, if they spend it on drugs/booze then it's their choice, whatever they use to take them away from reality for a short time, bless them with the opportunity to do that.

@@sakhter4044my voice was never heard I am 53 now I’ve had to fight hard for the little I have sleep in peoples houses when I was young very dangerous for a young girl they didn’t listen then and they don’t listen know I wasn’t a drug addict or an alcoholic I had a job but I tell you see the battle I had on my hands just to get somewhere safe to stay and nobody caring of course I was abused I would think now in 2024 this is worse more and more people without homes I have had the same home for 30 years but I feel sick that there is boys/girls human beings being abused because of no safe place and who care’s definitely not our government this makes me so angry and sad

This is awful❤ I live in Gothenburg and we have 3000 homeless people in our city. Last year we where down to -15°C. One of our churches allowed the homeless to sleep on church benches which saved many lives. Unfortunately this isnt enough. Every thought on socialism and that everyone deserves a life, is abandoned. I don't see a problem with having a Christmas market, but the way you spoke about it was almost as if we should think of the market as somehow harmful. The people going to the Christmas market aren't lapping it up in luxury. They're just normal people, some of them poor, who want some kind of break from the drudgery of day-to-day existence. It isn't that special: it's just mulled wine and roasted nuts with a few lights. It's actually pretty grim when compared with Christmases in decades past. It isn't the fault of the market or the people that some people are homeless. Obviously, seeing homeless people around depresses people - nobody seems happy in your video (even the dancing man seems medicated). Having a depressing environment not only depresses people but also depresses consumer demand, which leads to a weaker economy and MORE homeless people.

What idont get about homeless people is why do theyjuyst sit on the street? I'll never understand it. Especially the women, it's not safe to just sit there all the time.but we have the same people that are homeless and I dont know why they sit in doorways. @moosky7344 I'd say go out of the way so they have their own privacy, put a tent up somewhere in nature and just choose a spot that's close enough to walk to with general shops, it's really NOT safe at all to be on the high street or outside shops all of the time and most true homeless people that take care of themselves and their safety know it's best to not be seen, these people make such a meal of it, I find it hard to believe they are genuine.
